Beyond Raw Creatine HCL

I have been using this for years. As others mentioned it does have a harsh taste but I typically mix it with juice or my pre-workout. Great product, quick absorption, and delivers results. Recently tried standard creatine again to see if I liked it better, but switched right back to this brand

I purchase this item on a regular basis. Just getting around to writing a review now. Creatine HCL will always be more expensive than the monohydrate counterpart, but definitely worth it. The solubility is much better/faster with no grittiness like monohydrate. It will alter the taste of whatever you mix it into, but not necessarily in a bad way. It makes the drink more sour/tart, which if you mix it with a decent electrolyte, actually enhances the taste in my opinion.

Taste is awful and bitter, but great bang for your buck. You can cover the taste with protein powder, but neither my per-workout or Gatorade do the job. Flavored Con-cret is good, but I have tried they plain, and it's more expensive.

There is substance all over the container, even without the seal sticker being broken as soon as I open the cap, the powder is caked on top of this supposedly sealed. You can clear see where the seal is broken, allowing the substance out of the container.

It works exceptionally well. I mix it with juice, but I don’t let it sit for too long. If you do, its effectiveness diminishes as soon as you mix it. It’s best to drink it immediately. I prefer lemonade to mask the bitter taste. I can notice a significant difference in my performance when I go to the gym. I’m definitely ordering it again. I take two scoops an hour before my workout.
