It's perfect! As expected.
This is my first ever BTS album purchase, I am extra excited for this! So the product itself is everything I hoped for. The photo cards are nice and thick. The lyric book...wow! So many songs so it's a very big book. I'm looking forward to reading (and barely deciphering) the lyrics. It's all so pretty. To speak to the music included here, it's better than I imagined. CD 3 is so good (especially Jump! demo) and all the new songs are just as good as I expected (Run BTS? Wow!). The accordion book with all the album photos is A LOT smaller than I imagined probably about 1/4 size of a CD. Regardless, it's very pretty. The colors are bright and clear. I do have a few complaints: One of the corners of the jacket is sorta pushed in. That's all on Amazon though and I'm surprised it wasn't in worse shape since it was shipped loose in a padded envelope. Another is the folded poster that will forever have creases and that one's on HYBE. The material the dust jacket and CD plate are both the type that will scuff easily if it touches pretty much anything. I have a few marks just from taking off the plastic. Overall, we knew it was going to be great and it held up to our expectations 100 times over.

Worth the price tag!
I have to first tell y'all that I haven't purchased a CD since the very early aughts. Heck, I don't even own a CD player. However, BTS has been one of my safe places during the pandemic, and being that this album is an anthology, I thought it would be the perfect one to be my first purchase. Initially, I'll admit I was turned off by the price. Sets like this are sold differently than they were 20 years ago, so it seems wild to pay this much for a technology that is notably dated. HOWEVER- you need to know that it's worth it. From the many booklets inside (lyrics, discography, tours, pics), to the poster, to the 2 photo cards... everything was done so beautifully and it really does feel like a treasure. It's beautiful to display and quite heavy! I'm sure you'll be pleased. Plus, I pulled a J-Hope photo card, just as I had-- hoped. Okay, I'll go now!

Nostalgic, Exciting, Sad
This is my first comeback. All of the eras represented in these three discs are still fresh to me, and because I only started listening a year ago, the group’s development as artists is obvious to me. I shouldn’t feel nostalgic. So why am I crying? The news that they're taking a hiatus was not that unexpected. They've devoted so much of their young adulthood to the group and to their fans, plus the pandemic has kept them on uncertain ground that it's hard to adjust to when seven have to move the same way at the same time. So, that's hard, but not why I cry. Gratitude, maybe? The anthology songs they chose include a solo stage and a favorite OT7 song picked by each. Their thoughtfulness aside, BTS is a group that always has a message for their listeners. It can be broadly about social justice (No More Dream) or about a specific event (Spring Day, the melody of which uses genius changes to evoke the loss of innocence and friends - and uses the simple refrain I miss you I miss you to break your heart). Maybe there’s a little trepidation? Yet To Come, one of the three new songs and the only one so far to have a video, is light and poppie and assures us all that there’s more. But the video heavily references not only their past music videos but also a specific performance video of Life Goes On. And forward motion is good, right? But the best moment is yet to come is a statement that asks a lot of trust of the listener. Particularly when the past is as good as theirs. And the kind of trust it asks for is a jumping into the void/letting go kind of trust. Especially when the passage of time affects their obligations to their home country and their physical ability to continue doing the pyrotechnic choreography that made them that much better- on top of lyricism, social accountability, and reciprocal concern for their fandom - but, yeah, the athleticism has been outstanding. I think that may be the answer to why I am crying. They’re clearly drawing a line between then and what’s next. If they eventually get back together to perform in concerts, it won't be what it was before. Musically, there’s nothing to cry about, unless it’s tears of thankfulness. Instead of just a greatest hits compilation, they’ve added three new songs and a disc full of demos. Clever men, they share with us unpolished versions of themselves while answering the bitter critics who (falsely) allege that the members do not actually write. So, whatever comes next, we are assured that the smack talk and clap back will continue. Plus the bop. Run BTS is an upbeat number with a groove that begs for choreography. For Youth references all of the sweet songs and the not so sweet ones about innocence and, to an extent, power disparities in an inherently unjust world. There is nothing about this song that suggests BTS is going to stop trying to make the world a better place. The record merits multiple listen. Even if you know the old songs well, hearing them in this new context will reveal more. And I dare you not to make it move left and right. Notes: Disc 2's OST/OT7 picks go in fan chant order. And the standard edition weighs a ton -> SO many pages in the books. Gorgeous photos. Highly recommend. Thank you, BTS, Big Hit, HYBE.

Excellent
Just as expected! It had everything intact, and was in perfect shape. I love it! I spent a lot of time with this guy, as I used an old disc ripper, and it took it forever to figure out what to do with the discs. Oh yeah, and there are 3 discs, and is quite comprehensive. I highly recommend, especially for a casual fan. The little poster is so cool looking too!

Amazing album and I loved all the inclusions. I think it's the perfect album to buy if you are just now starting your cd collection or if you just entered the fandom.
