What is so special for rice .

You can get a good amount of rice in one scoop without the rice falling off the spoon and then it releases well too. And I like the look of it. Very handsome.

It shouldn’t scratch. The silicone coating makes it scratch resistant. It’s very well made & pan friendly!

Is it Dishwasher safe ?

This item should only be hand washed, never placed into the dishwasher. This is because of the wood handle
