Hi Jarrett, YES, no problem at all, in fact, we recommend this as it will keep the heat inside, thus boil faster. It's got a hole on the lid for pouring the contents out when ready. Hope this helps!

Hi Michael, thanks for reaching out. It's compatible with just about every brand of canister. The only one you have to watch out for is the Coleman brand. Not just the big green one, but for some reason, they made the adapter size different. But yes, JetBoil works just fine.
