Great metal tip is the best thing about these.
I love this style of tip for writing with a pen. I've been using Pilot G2 gels for the better part of a decade but these have become my new favorite. Super smooth writing, bold dark ink that doesn't smear, precise tip. I usually like a bold or fine so I got these but honestly they write bolder and thicker than expected, which is great for general purpose. I am going to try the extra fine for small note taking and flash card making. Got the multi colored set in extra fine on the way. If I buy the regular black again I may try the refillable retractable ones with this type of tip. Over all very happy with the pens and the price. I'd could say definitely would purchase again but I already have but still I will end up with more of these v5s and v7s with the precision metal tip. They just write so well for some reason. I thought I was spoiled on the G2s. Glad I gave these a try.

These are smooth writing, great pens!
Love these pens, the V7 is just right, the V5 is a little too fine. My work supplies cheap pens, but I buy these because I like them so much.

I write a lot and this'll be my new go-to pen until it isn't
They are brand new to me today; I'll give them 5 stars for now. - I've been using Precise V5 since I was a baby...no wait...maybe 10 years or 7. Love them, but failing eyesight needs wider ink so I'm trying 0.7s for the first time in my life. It's going to take time to adjust to seeing what I'm writing. I also just bought the never used Sharpie S-Gel 0.7. They're pretty close. Width: Precise V7: Very slightly narrower Width: Sharpie S-Gel V7: Very slightly wider Durability: Probably Sharpie S-Gel V7. Solid outer body. Durability: A negative for Precise V5 (I'm guessing V7 also): Burst open & leak when handles after flying high altitude. Flow from Start: Important bonus for Precise V7. A good start is critical in writing. No disruption, go. Flow from Start: Sharpie: Mine often lags in ink flow at start (dry ball?) ... Writing fiction I want to dive in, not take the stairs. Feel: For me Precise V7 puts the icing on the cake (no I wouldn't put that in my fictional work). It flows. Feel: The Sharpie S-Gel's V7 is a great pen, but ballpoint pens greatly interrupt and lag behind my mind. I give a decided preference to the Pilot V7. It starts flowing immediately and feels smooth and free as it goes along with my mind. However I've had several Pilot 0.5s start leaking from high altitude flying.

Great pens, just needs decent paper
These Pilot Precise V7 pens are my go-to. The liquid ink flows super smooth, and the fine 0.7 mm tip writes clean and sharp without feeling scratchy. The black ink is really dark and consistent, which makes writing feel really satisfying. Only thing to keep in mind is that because it's liquid ink, it can bleed through or feather a little on cheaper paper. On good quality paper though, it looks perfect. The pens are comfortable to hold for long writing sessions and the cap feels secure. If you like smooth, clean writing and don’t mind using better paper, these are hard to beat.

Much better than V5 IMO
My favorite pens. I used the V5 since middle school and didn't know there even was a V7 until about a year ago. They are perfect for me.

Daaahaaaam fine pens son
There was once a time when man simoly used rocks or charcoal tipped wood to inscribe messages to each other. Then can the modern invention of the pencil, that was splendid too. Then came the pen and from it a great plethora of innovation occured. This pen, that I thus review is the pinnacle of such achievement. A smooth design, meant to be handled by even the most supple of hands. Is the culmination of a thousand mens efforts and ingenuity. The ink flows like the silver words of a poet, or the never ending mead of the gods. The writing fine and classy like an early, late Audrey Hepburn (r.i.p). And that's just the review of ONE pen, there's four of thes motherfu€ker$, that's pandemic bargain bliss. That's idk- five months of the most blissful writing you could fathom + 10. If only every pen worked as hard and thoroughly as this pen. We'd never need pen diversity again. Seriously, buy them- they're pretty great. (And cheap too)

best pens
I am a pen simp & I simp for these pens. these are the only stick pens I buy. I'm a student & take all of my notes by hand & these are perfect. thick even line, nice to hold, a bit of weight. ink dries quickly & doesn't transfer. only caveat is the ink can bleed through thin paper, but the notebooks I use handle it well. I keep these in my pencil case, backpack, purse, car, desk. I love these pens

Runs out quickly, smudges
I was really excited to try out these pens as I've heard them recomended a lot but was very dissapointed. They run out of ink constantly and when the ink does come out, it smudges very easily. The pen itself feels like a thin, cheap plastic, and the metal clip is very flimsy. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone

These Pens Are My Favourite. This Is Why I Gave Them As Gifts.
These pens are fantastic. They were a bit late this time, but the seller corrected it, and they were delivered the next day after I posted a negative review. The person who was supposed to receive them got them and let me know right away.
