Very Nice Colored Pencils . . .
I really like these colored pencils. They lay down nice color without having to go over them several times to get a more saturated color. I especially like their triangular shape. I didn't think I would, but it actually makes them more comfortable to hold. And it also keeps the pencil from rolling away when I set it on the table. I think they are a great alternative if you want something a little nicer than Crayola Colored Pencils, but less expensive than Prisma Color. The reason I chose this brand is because the reviews on YouTube said this brand has less lead breakage in the pencils. So far I have had only one pencil where I would sharpen it then the lead would fall out. So I would sharpen it again & it fell out again. But with Crayola pencils I would have this happen to several pencils. And reviews on YouTube said that Prisma Colored Pencils can have that problem as well because of their soft lead. So I decided on these and I have been very happy with them.

Great pigment, and colors smooth.
I had a fun time trying out a lot of different brands of pencils. On the scale these came out without streaking and had smooth consistent pigment. I do tend to press down harder on my pencils, and the cores (tips) never broke or chipped. I would recommend for all ages because of this. They tend to be a bit higher in price, but worth it in my opinion. Can you get kolours, yes, but these I would rate higher on the scale. They aren't as waxy as kolours and dont break or chip as easily.

Love them
My son loves the triangle shape and variety of colors. Nice trays that they sit in. A few pencils so far have had broken 'lead' - so when we sharpen it, it breaks/falls out and have to sharpen it again.

Great Quality Coloring Pencils
High quality pencils. It allows to color evenly and a uniform blur. A wide range of colours, even though the set does not include the primary colours.

Great on smooth or slick paper!
I bought this set to use in coloring books and in multi-media art projects. So far, I've found that they work exceptionally well on smooth, slick and even slightly glossy, coated cardstock. Even though they are marketed as a predominantly wax based pencil, they are on firm side, so you get a quick, strong color payout with the benefit of the pencil holding it's point slightly longer. In my estimation, these are mid-grade, student quality pencils.

Buttery Soft and Pigmented
I bought the pastel set in July of ‘22 and the metallic set in August of ‘22 so I’ve had a decent amount of time to try them out. I’ve tried many brands of colored pencils from Crayola to Prismacolor and everything in between but these have really impressed me. They are very pigmented, buttery soft, lays down color smoothly and evenly which I was absolutely not expecting because metallic pencils are notorious for being super scratchy, patchy, and not very pigmented. That said, the metallic was hard to see, except in different angles but I’ve yet to see a metallic colored pencil that satisfies my need for bling. The palette of colors is excellent and the colors are distinct enough that it doesn’t feel like you have 2 of any color. Since they are so soft and pigmented, not a lot of pressure is needed to lay down color and will break if your are rough with them. Though they are triangular in shape, they sharpen nicely but if you use a *dull* sharpener, your pencil may split or get eaten- and I think part of that is due to the shape. All in all, these are great pencils and I am saving my pennies to buy the Arteza expert set of 120s. I highly recommend these.

Nice pencils, limited use
The colors are pastel, they lay down soft, almost creamy. But for 50 colors, they seem limited in range. When I received mine, one of the points was broken off. The packaging is very flimsy and unhelpful for keeping the pencils sorted while using them. It takes only the slightest movement to knock them all about. You will definitely need something else to store them in if you plan to keep them in a certain order. I recommend this, as each hue has several shades of slight variation. For 50 pencils the variety of hues seems limited. I also don't like the fact that they have what seems a strange number system with no color names. Short of using an excellent organizational system with space to keep a labeled color chart, it will be difficult to find the color you need. While you may find some acceptable skin and earth tones, between the packaging, limited hues, and lack of color names (which may be possible to find on the Arteza website), I just feel like they are not worth what I paid. I found another set of more pencils that cost less and seem to better meet my needs. These may be exactly what some people are looking for, and the price is just right for them. Just not for me. I put all the colors down on white paper for the benefit of others. As I plan to return these, I didn't resharpen the broken one. In certain indoor lighting a couple were extremely difficult to see, so I added a label in ink. I tried to put them in numerical order, but messed up a couple of times. I took a couple of photos in more natural light, one with added led lighting. While they are easier to see, a few of them look nearly a different hue than they did in different lighting. I hope this helps.

Very pleased with these pencils. Good range of shades just what I was looking for. Previous reviews complained about the packaging but I simply put them in a pencil cup and discarded the cardboard. Just be careful when initially opening.
