I haven't given my fish the Koi Growth yet. I was told food pallets should float on top of the water and if fish didn't eat within 10 - 15 min I should take out what wasn't eaten. I found that time given varies from 5 min up - so I just just my own judgement.

They would need to soak a bit to become soft enough for them to nibble off of them.
