1 gram added sugar per 3 squares I counted 11 squares in a single 4.1 oz bag The flavor is pretty intense as you might expect, and slight hint of bitter, although I like it. If you've never tried anything above 60% cacao you might want to work your way up the percentages before you plunge for the six-pack of 92% (although the others have more sugar). The bag I just got with Amazon as a supplier had 15 months remaining until expiration.

Always good quality. This is not a sweet chandy. However, I like it since I am not hung up on real sweet chocolate like M&Ms.

This chocolate is clearly made for people who enjoy extremely dark cacao, and that becomes obvious right away. The bitterness is very strong, with almost no sweetness to balance it out, which made it hard for me to enjoy as a regular treat. The texture itself is smooth and melts evenly, so from a quality standpoint it feels well made. I tried having it on its own and also with coffee, and while the flavor softened slightly when paired with a drink, it was still more intense than I prefer. One square feels like plenty, and I couldn’t imagine eating more than that at a time. I understand the appeal for those who like bold, unsweetened chocolate, but for my taste it leans too far into bitterness. Even as someone who usually enjoys dark chocolate, this one felt more like something to tolerate than truly enjoy. It’s not unpleasant because of texture or freshness, just the flavor profile being very sharp. It serves a specific audience, but it’s not something I’d reach for when craving chocolate
