Nice k type tc, long enough cable to have the probe tip in oven center yet keep your readout (not included) on counter beside the oven for temporary study. Very useful to check if the oven is able to regulate temperature (and see how close it is to sp). Not for use directly with food or while cooking, you should get a food grade device for that.

I have a B-K Precision multi meter model 390A Test Bench. B-K Precision is a known high quality brand of electronic test equipment. They are quite expensive. Very close to the Fluke brand in quality and features. So this was not used on a inexpensive budget friendly meter. The blades on the plug were supposed to fit the industry standard Type K socket. When I inserted the plug on the probe into the type k socket it was not even close to fitting. It wobbled severely in every direction and was in no way close to fitting. If I wobbled the plug around in the socket enough sometimes it would get a reading. I had the probe in my arm pit and I did get it to read 95 for a minute but the connection was no good. If you have a B-K Precision meter this will not work for you. But I must say the times I did get a reading it said 95 so I think if the plug would have fit the type k socket it would have been an accurate temp. It did not work for my meter but it appears to be well made and accurate temp probe. Maybe the plug will work for you I don't know.
