I already had a very small twist disc but my size 5 feet were hanging off the edge so I thought a bigger one would be better. It is, albeit slightly noisier. It sound like someone sawing wood but it doesn't bother me. I wouldn't say it's flimsy but it's lighter than I thought, and the movement is smooth. I never understood what people meant when they say engage your core but I really have to use the stomach muscles to control it or I go round in circles. I like jumping on this on my lunch break and watching telly.

Ab twister seems to be a good purchase. It's sturdy, feels like my abs are getting a good workout and is fun to use. I would recommend if you're looking for a good value for a fun workout.
