The Statue of Liberty (Step-into-Reading, Step 2)

My grandchildren love it. I also got a little Statue of Liberty that they can hold and play with while we're reading the book. It really adds to the story.

This book is way better than I expected! Cool facts about the Statue, who made it, who helped, where it stands. Now, most ADULTS/OLDER STUDENTS probably know this info, or, most of the info... However, my son, who is (age 7) and in 1st grade his school is a MATH AND READING focused school at this age. Very little history, science is involved. He will be heading to 2nd Grade come August, and I have purchased so many "kid friendly" history and science books for him to read over the summer to help prepare him for 2nd grade!!!

I love these series. But most important that my son does. I order 20+ books and he loves to read them (usually it is not that easy to make him read). I got mix of 2-3-4 levels for the second grader, second level is too easy, but it creates some fun and he reads them with pleasure. Love it, I would recommend it.

This book has very large print and large pictures and all the information a youngster might want about the Statue of Liberty. The little Golden Book tells a more compelling story but is less accessible to young readers.

Got it for my 4 year old and he liked it. He can't read yet, but was interested in the way she was made.

The book had lots of facts about The Statue of Liberty. The details about how the it was made in section then sent on a ship to America made you visualize the process. I did not how ever like the book layout the pages were too small and did not take up the whole screen and a few pages the print was so small it was hard to read.

Highly recommend this book!!! My son is really interested in the Statue of Liberty so I quickly ordered this book for him and he loved it. This book packs in a lot of interesting information in such a short book. Even I learned a few things.

I have a 6 year old who is obsessed with the As Statue of Liberty. This book is easy enough for him to read and full of fun facts.

Petit livre en langue anglaise, pas cher et très détaillé, idéal pour apprendre à nos bambins l'histoire de la statue de la liberté. Mon fils est d'origine américaine par son papa, j'ai trouvé qu'il était important de lui apprendre certaines choses qui font parties de la culture de son père. Je vous le recommande vivement !

une histoire simple en anglais qui explique l'histoire de cette statue. 1 page image avec 1 page texte en face je vais la lire à mes ce1 quand on travaillera sur les USA accessible dès le cm2 en lecture seule avec quelques aides.
