Fender MGT-4 4-Button Mustang GT Footswitch

Very nice pedal. I am using this pedal on the Fender Acoustic Junior amp. The magnetic overlay came with the amp. Fender specifically stated to order this pedal for my amp. The pedal switches are spring type and operate very smooth and are not the type that click when depressed. I can use the pedal with bare feet! This pedal is a very useful and allows you to use it for changing the effects independently for each channel and adjusting the reverb speed on some of the effects. The neatest thing is using it for the amp's built in looper! The built in tuner on the pedal is OK, as it will mute the amp so you can tune. The part I do not like about the tuner is you have to increase your guitar's on board volume adjustment to work (acoustic guitar w/LRBaggs element). Amazingly I have found no battery or an input for power! Apparently, the power is supplied to the foot switch with the 1/4" x 1/4" cable that comes with the pedal. I have tried a regular instrument cable out of curiosity and it works fine too. It seems a little confusing to use at first, but is very easy to learn. Overall, this is very high quality and well built. I highly recommend this pedal. This pedal is ONLY going to work on specified Fender amps as per Fender! It is definately a compliment to amp!

This is exactly what the Fender GT40 amp needed. You can switch presets, turn effects on and off, and, more importantly, access the built-in looper. I know some players prefer a one-button looper, but that's not me. I couldn't be more pleased with this product. Well worth the price.

Makes switching effects on the amp so much easier rather than turning the knob by hand

I was sent a defective unit, but Adorama quickly processed my return (although I’m still waiting for the refund to show up in my account). As for the item itself, it’s really cool to be able to loop different sounds with the different presets. It’s easy to hook up, too.

This unit really brings the amp (LT50 mustang )to next level. Eliminating all the foot pedals I had been using. The tuner is easy to use and see on the floor.

This pedal works great as a Looper for the Mustang GT amps. One difference between this and a really high end looper is that this one is limited to one minute. For me that's not a problem, but for some people it might be. Also, the dub feature is nice, as well as the tuner. All the buttons seem sturdy enough and there are enough YouTube videos out there to help you get going with it if you're flummoxed (as I was) by the fact that there are no directions in the box. Of course, Fender's site is awesome, so I would start there, but YouTube is where I usually end up. If you are a Mustang GT owner, this is really a must have.

I’ll have to update this after I get more acquainted with how some of the functions work - I’m a little too caught up with using the looping functions and changing patches with the iOS app. It seems like they tried to make it do everything possible, which tends to cause some occasional over-shooting or just misstepping. It would make more sense to me to have the various parameter and patch adjustments divisible between two separate pedals (?right?) rather than having it all jammed not one, which can require too much stomping back and forth to get to where you want. But the looping ability and being able to change your patches within and while looping makes this thing a necessity. I don’t know why you would have any Mustang GT amp without it - it should have been included at a price that’s reflective of what it adds to the amps.

Bought used supposedly "mint" condition from Amazon. Will not work effects or loop. Sent back, total waste of my time.

Hervorragendes Pedal mit integriertem Stimmgerät; erlaubt umfassende Steuerung des angeschlossenen Amps. Für den "Acoustic SFX II" (nur daran hab' ich es ausprobiert) ist es geradezu unverzichtbar; dieser Combo-Amp hat auch die passende magnetisch haftende Beschriftungsplatte, die man einfach drauflegt. Würde ich sofort wieder kaufen, ... hab' den passenden Amp aber leider bereits wieder inklusive Pedal verkauft.

Sulle funzioni è praticamente tutto scritto in descrizione e funziona tutto come dovrebbe, ciò che mi è piaciuto è che la qualità produttiva è più alta di quanto ti aspetti da un “aggeggiò tuttofare” del genere. Mi aspettavo che i singoli bottoni avessero più un click che una corsa reale, ma non credo sia un difetto, per lo meno da inesperto quale sono

Works as any Fender product should! I been very happy with this foot pedal. Used to play live and at home.
