Hesitant reader approved.
If you have a hesitant reader, this is a great series. Chapters aren’t long so it never feels overwhelming for the reader and it has just enough cliffhangers to make the reader want to keep going to the next chapter. Well written and easy to follow.

Excellent Book Series (Book 2 of 3)
The whole Masterminds series (3 books) are excellent for kids as well as adults to read with them. The writing style is amazing and each chapter and end of book are cliff hangers that make you want to continue reading to see what happens next. My entire family highly recommends this book (and the series). There is plenty of excitement and adventure. Great for boys, girls, moms, dads, etc. You wont me disappointed!

Masterminds
I read all three books. He is a great writer, keeps you in the story with all the surprises, twists and turns. They were better than watching a thriller movie. His descriptions made pictures in my mind. I loved all the books! Thanks!

Slightly damaged on side.
The book was good but the book was slightly damaged on the sides due to shipment. Overall it was a good product but was slightly below my expectations due to the shipping.

Only 1 negative thing
Such a fun middle grade story I've been reading with my kid. My only complaint it a few slight comments about one girl who has an obsession with making her "goal weight". I know this is something that young teens do focus on, but I don't think it needs to be done in a book like this that young impressionable middle grade kids might read. This is the second out of three and we'll definitely be reading the third

Must Have
I usually don't write book reviews, but this book made me. Usually when you have a book series, the second book is worse then the first one. However, in this situation this book was the most thrilling story. Gordon Korman planned this series out perfectly because this book didn't kill me from boredom. I cant wait for the third book to come out. If you like books with an action adventure effect, read the masterminds series!

Son loves it!
Just ordered this book a few days ago because my 10 year old was reading the first one and said he liked it! Thankfully it came yesterday because he finished the first book this morning! He’s excited to begin this book today! Off to buy the 3rd one now since he was so into the first book he read it in 2 days.

No Words - Just amazing
I've read books written by legends: Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, The Hunger Games. And I can tell you with absolute certainty that this book - no, this whole entire series - is nothing short of that. Masterminds has such an intriguing and unexpected plot, it leaves you on the edge at every page. A real page turner. It has a unique storyline and the most infuriating ideas combined with hilarious character personalities. Altogether, its pure genius. I would recommend this to all ages. Adults, children, whoever you are, I am 100% sure that you will laugh and thoroughly enjoy this novel, all the while relating to it in some way. I, for one, loved every single letter of it. Why? Because Masterminds is a masterpiece. As for Gordon Korman? He's a mastermind at the art of writing.
