How does this work? Where do I plug it in? I plugged it in to the back of the Wii Machine but it would not work! Does it need to go into the nunchuck?

It does go in the back of the wii console. You must have a wii game that requires the mike. Look at the back of the game package and it should show what type of controllers can be used with that particular game.

yes! it's a universal microphone that plugs in through any usb port. as long as you are using a video game system with a usb port. regards, iwd

usually i use youtube on wii for karaoke.. will this work like that?

Yes. I have been using it for the glee programs. Works as well as the Wii mike at half the price. Happy singing.

Inexpensive, works great

I have had no problems with this microphone at all. I read other reviews blasting it for being Konami instead of Logitech. However, if you read the writing on the microphone it has a Konami badge but also has Logitech written on the side. I don't feel that is false advertising. We have used this microphone with our Wii system and have had no problems. It works just as well as the one that came with a game we purchased. We bought this one as a second microphone for duets.

This was perfect for my vintage game setup, the cord is super long. Obviously it’s older so it’s not going to have the best sound quality outside of garage band or guitar hero. But it’s still a fun product.

WORKS WITH Wii SINGING GAMES!!

I recently went old school and bought my kids a Wii. They love to sing so I got them a few of the singing competition games - Miley Cyrus, Jonas Bro's, High School Musical, etc (lol they don't know any of the songs but I know every word :P) Gamestop didn't sell the microphone so I had to look for one online. THIS ONE WORKS PERFECT !!!!

Meh…..

Not a bad price, but, you get what you pay for. Has an echo and have tried removing the background noise in ALL game settings. It’s not high quality, but again neither was the cost. Does the job as a mic for kids, just don’t think you will win any karaoke contests with it.
