Highest quality headset on the market
Absolutely brilliant set of headphones. Quality is outstanding, feeling extremely sturdy, luxury and comfortable all at once. Looks equally as high quality. Definitely worth the price for wireless headphones. Connectivity is outstanding, the range is as large as practically necessary and then some. Easily works through walls and even between floors without so much as a delay. Multiple batteries make it so there is minimal, if any downtime. One battery can be charging 24/7 inside the base station, and can be switched in under 10 seconds. Easy to set up and use, docking station can be plugged into a PC and Xbox simultaneously, seamlessly switching with a few clicks on the headset itself, all while being connected to another device via Bluetooth. Bluetooth and devices connected to the base station can be played at the same time. Sound quality is outstanding, able to be adjusted via the Steelseries PC app to best suit each individual for each purpose (Media, gaming, chat, etc.). Noise cancellation is brilliant for muting external sounds like PC fans, outside ambience and anything else. Transparent mode is equally as impressive, making it sound as if I'm not even wearing a headset. Microphone is decent quality, and can also be adjusted via the Steelseries app. Comes with a cover to prevent breath and harsh spitting sounds coming through. Mute button does occasionally cause a sound when activated that others can hear, which is mildly annoying. Otherwise this is the only nitpick issue I can make for these headphones.

Expensive but incredibly versatile quality set of gaming headphones.
Purchased this set of headphones for the hot swappable battery aspect primarily - as i wanted to retain wireless but not have to keep plugging cables in. The heaphones themselves are of decent build quality & the sound quality is there - although i had to apply some EQ to get them to how i like them, they don't compare in quality to very high end headphones of which i do own a pair (not quite as much depth on the low end and the highs aren't as nice) , but for day to day they are perfect and more than enough for gaming. The ANC is adequate - sometimes useful, sometimes not depending on the external ambient noise. I do find that i have it off more than on though as it causes me to feel pressure in my ears which i don't find enjoyable. They are also very useful for work too - as i can just use the bluetooth aspect of them to connect to my work gear while not having to move cables on the DAC to something else etc. Speaking of which, the DAC that these come with houses the spare battery on the right hand side for charging when you are using the alternate battery in the headset, the DAC has all the controls and more that the headset does, very intuitive to use, clear screen & i recently found it it even integrates with games like Counter Strike to provide me with stats on the game (this will require the install of SteelSeries GG software on PC though to gather that information and display it). This is the type of product that is 70% hardware and 30% software - as a lot of the features that make these headphones great is down to the software counter part. Steel Series seem very good with firmware updates and software package updates which keep on making this package as a whole a lot better. To add to this - i can purchase even more spare batteries for this completely seperately, which is a comforting thought and makes me feel this is a very longevity focused product

Gamer Review
Gamer here. So before I was using the Beyerdynamic DT 900 pros and I thought they were phenomenal! But i have to say I like these even better. This is my first wireless headphones and it took a bit getting used to. I kept trying to swipe away the cable like I had to on my other pair, forgetting these are wireless. I havent seen any delay in sound. You can still plug them in via 3.5mm jack as well. Another great thing is you can be connected to the pc via the WiFi and then connected to you mobile phone with the Bluetooth, and then within the software you can pick what the headphones do with the bluetooth. Like lower your game volume when your on a call. The little station that they come with is pretty cool. And the fact it charges your second battery as well while your using the other one. So your never without power. I also like that when you swap the battery over it auto reconnects so you don't need to power them back on again. You can change all the settings via the little station or you can download the software for more indepth. But on a finishing note the sound on these is pretty spectacular. I know they are pricey but they are worth it. My only gripe is the pleather earmuffs. But I get that they are meant to help cut out background noise. But id rather have like the plushy earmuffs. Less sweating. But other than that I love them.

Possibly the best headset availible
The Nova Pro is easily the best headset for xbox with the easy setup and useful features. Not relying upon xbox wireless is nice as my last wireless xbox headset suffered from a lot of signal loss whereas it isn't an issue with this. The headset is on the whole comfortable and I've been able to wear it for hours without any discomfort with one notable exception. There is a notch that sticks out from the drivers on both ears which is quite uncomfortable when it touches my ear (which happens almost every time I use the headset) but sitting the headset in the right position seems to stop it from touching my ear. The Bluetooth and 2.4/5GHz work well together as well as separately and the subdued design and retractable mic mean I can just wear these as a good pair of Bluetooth headphones. Overall the headset is great and the DAC is incredibly useful despite a recent update that prevented it from turning off (although this feature has since returned). The 2 rechargeable batteries have saved me on multiple occasions and charging / storing the one I'm not using in the DAC means that for once, I haven't lost it. All things considered this is a great headset however it has one major drawback, the price. It is a bit steep. But there really is nothing like it at the moment.

Could be better
Pricey headset with some notable drawbacks. Pros: Comfortable to wear Swappable batteries Dual audio sources: you can listen to music via Bluetooth from your phone while gaming Automatically switches between Xbox and PC with no manual input required Cons: Volume wheel feels very cheap Sound and microphone quality don’t justify the price compared to cheaper alternatives Microphone does not auto-mute when retracted Base unit light stays on even when the headset is powered off Battery swapping is still slightly inconvenient; Astro headsets, for example, use a base station that charges the headset when docked, so it’s always ready to go Overall: A solid headset, but there are several elements that feel unnecessarily cheap for this price point. If listening to Spotify while gaming is important to you and you regularly switch between Xbox and PC, I’d recommend it 👌 Otherwise, you’re better off going for a cheaper option or choosing astro a40s

Amazing and well worth the money!!
Amazing headset!! Ive had steel series for a while but only the cheaper arctis 3 ect these are so much better its like they arent made by the same company!! Amazing build quality , great fit and extremely comfortable dont casue any ear fatigue! Great noise cancellation! Just amazing it is a shame there isnt a xbox app to tune the sound even more like you can on pc i didnt realise this till i had them home! Also the mac features are limited! With xbox you can only use a set of presets built into the base station but there are loads on PC hope they add a way we xbox users can add different presets our self! Currently there is one custom slot i can manually adjust which is good but not as good as pc users! And even if you make presents on a pc you cant take them across to xbox!

Good Sound and Functionality, Bad fit and Terrible Mic Quality
In case this is a shared review space, I purchased the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless for Xbox & PC. These headphones have a lot of potential but are let down by some simple things. Sound Quality: The sound on these headphones are good, but not great. With some shuffling using the Sonar software I got closer to the sound I was hoping for, but there was still some missing bass and upper-mid details. The Fit: If you have small ears you may be in luck, unfortunately I don't fall into that category. These are very much on-ear rather than wrap around. As a glasses wearer, I had these on my head for less than 15 minutes before I started to feel the pressure on the side of my head. The head band was reasonably comfortable, although it didn't sit as well as my previous headphones. One thing to note, if your ears do fit the pads, there is a small section attached to the front of the speaker plate which pokes into your ear, which may cause issues. The Mic: This was one of the most disappointing features. Physically, the microphone was flimsy and awkward to position. It could not consistently pick up my voice, and when it did it also picked up the smallest of background noises (especially typing) - despite trying the AI filter, manual filter, and no filter in the software. I would also expect folding the mic away to disable capture, but you need to use a separate button to mute mic capture completely. The Connection: Connectivity was good, I moved several rooms away on the 2.4GHz wireless and mostly had no loss of audio. The ability to connect wireless and Bluetooth at the same time was also nice. Useful Features: The headset has some lovely features, including the quick swap battery, the dual audio (WIFI and Bluetooth), and the quick swap between chat and game audio volumes that could be adjusted on the headphones themselves. The Base Station: The signal from the base station is good, and the display is very clear to read. It's not the most intuitive thing to navigate, but it's reasonable to figure out. Where this system does lose points is if your console(s) and PC are in different rooms. The base station must be connected to the device, so this is an instant no-go in that situation, unless you connect via Bluetooth to your PC. There is an easy charge slot for the spare battery, the two battery system is good for length of play. The Noise Cancellation: I would say the noise cancellation is good, however due to the fit on the pads it was fairly useless. Overall: I was hoping for the more from these. They have a decent range of functionality, reasonable sound quality, and good range - however the poor fit, the terrible mic, and the lack of flexibility from the base station mean that for any extended gaming, or multi-room activity, these are a huge let down. Sadly I'll be returning mine and once again looking for a decent headset - something that should have been a lot easier!

Night and Day Difference
Haven't completed many (any?) review's here... this needed one. Caveat: Used headphones for perhaps. 3 hours. May have a new review in a few weeks but this needed to be said.... Easy setup (literally plug-n'play), initial testing without any customisations. What's best to try out these headphones? Only one option, The greatest showman, and all I can say is "this is me". It's a night and day difference from anything i've used before, we're not talking ramp up the volume to max just to hear the undertones, this is listening to every beat, every breath... it's just brilliant. That goosebump feeling you get? Yep. Was I listening to music the right way before? No, I feel like royalty now... All jokes aside, cracking headset. Even better with customisations via GG (Enable Sonar!). Comparing this against; - Logitech Artemis / G935 / G635 / G435 - Corsair HS70 - Various plantronics headsets (Using these for home office) - Bose Soundsports / Apple airpods / Jaybird x4s (yes I know these are earbuds and I wouldn't expect the same quality) Boring Stuff - Arrived nice and quickly (Kudos Royal Mail + others) - Not much packaging wastage. You get the box, the bits and the little plastic wrappers around the cables. - Cool little unit sits on your desk to control volume, show's battery left etc... - Cables are long enough (sure someone will care about this?) - The little pop-out batteries are cute as hell, love the idea of switching batteries and more headsets should offer this. - Bluetooth switching whilst connected to PC works pretty well - Loads of customisations available for audio/recording/chat quality. Want to sound like your using a walkie-talkie? It's possible.... want some attention to a crisp deep voice or adjust that nasaly tone? It's possible. Pricy, worth it.

Amazing headset for Xbox and PS5
Had the Astro A50 before and was actually really happy but the Nova Pro is a level above. Easy setup and connection, very comfortable and light and amazing sound and microphone quality. Replacement battery is a very nice idea. This headset just ticks all the boxes.

Decent headset, but not as premium as the price suggests
These just don't feel premium compared to other headsets in the same price range. Not even any voice feedback on battery levels etc
