Amazon eero 6+ mesh Wi-Fi router | 1.0 Gbps Ethernet | Coverage up to 420 m2 | Connect 75+ devices | 3-Pack | 2022 release

Purchased a bundle of 3 Eero 6+ whilst on offer following leaving a previous broadband supplier who had provided their own proprietary WiFi mesh equipment. As the best we can receive from other broadband suppliers is currently FTTC, we needed to ensure the entire property was receiving the best WiFi possible. These devices have largely worked flawlessly since install in February. We have four Alexa Echo's that have the Eero Built in Feature but so far none are really utilised, three 6+ devices provide sufficient cover for our home. Devices migrate between the Eero's around the house without problem and we've only had minor connectivity concerns with a very old fire tv stick that is in a built in wardrobe, so is very obscured which likely hinders the signal, shower we rarely have any issues with that device. It was an expensive purchase but the app works excellently and we have been able to achieve the full spectrum of WiFi speed our ISO provides (in our case up to 76mbps) speeds internally within the LAN itself far exceed this for internal data transfer. I'm looking forwards to when FTTP arrives and we can get back on to a full fibre connection. Only downside so far is that the more impressive data analytics are locked behind an Amazon/Eero subscription paywall which is very irritating. Overall, These are great devices, work flawlessly and without any difficulty, worth the investment if you have WiFi signal problems around the home.

I purchased 2 Amazon eero 6+ mesh Wi-Fi routers about a year ago now - to mesh my network throughout the flat, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results. The setup was incredibly easy, and within minutes, my entire home was covered with fast and reliable Wi-Fi. The blistering speeds are a major upgrade compared to my previous router, and I’m consistently getting speeds close to the advertised 1.0 Gbps Ethernet. The coverage is fantastic, reaching every corner of my flat without any dead spots, even in rooms far from the router. I can easily connect 75+ devices without any performance issues, which is perfect for my smart home setup, laptops, phones, and more. The release of this router has certainly lived up to its promises, offering excellent value for its price. It also upgrades itself when required. Overall, the Amazon eero 6+ provides superb performance, reliability, and ease of use. If you’re looking for a reliable and high-speed Wi-Fi mesh system, I highly recommend it!

I bought 2x of the 6+ to setup a mesh system at home with another Eero I already had. I replaced my main router from BT which was only Wifi5 with an Eero 6+ and then hardwired the others to form a solid mesh system around the house. Once I had my old router set to modem only mode, the rest of the setup was a breeze which is a definite strength of the Eero system. I have to admit the performance overall is a little disappointing for 2 reasons: 1. The 2x new Eero 6+ are downstairs and the older orignal Eero 5 upstairs so my son's PS5 can be hardwired in front bedroom. This provides great speeds wired but I have noticed both my laptop and my phone regualrly fail to connect to the strongest signal Eero as I move around the house. When upstairs they will insist on connecting to the downstairs Eero 6+ when the upstairs Eero has a stronger signal. Also when in the upstairs backbedrooms, the main Eero 6+ router is directly below but again laptop and phone try to connect to the slower Eero 5. Frusrating and you cannot force them to switch with the mesh setup. 2. Previously in upstairs back bedroom my older BT router which was only wifi5 would hit 500mb/s but the Eero 6+ struggles to go above 300mb/s and when incorrectly using the Eero 5 it's under 100mb/s... The Eero are faster when in the same room and will hit 900mb/s but definitely weaker strength over any kind of distance or through a ceiling. Checked all settings but that seems to be real world performance. Overall I would give: App 4/5 - Excellent but lose star unability to force a certain router to be used Setup 5/5 Stability 5/5 Performance - 5/5 wired or in wifi in same room 3/5 for wifi in another room, even with thin plasterboard walls and ceilings Value - 4/5

Game changer for full home WiFi coverage, easy to set up! And no blind spots!

I was very skeptical about this product, but I have to say that I absolutely love it. I have 2 eero 6+ working together, one in the living room and the other one in my office, which has 3 walls in between. I have the second eero connected to the first one wirelessly and to my PC by cable. Before using eero I was getting ±120mbps, now I'm getting ±880mbps on my PC. The same with WiFi, I never had more than 400mbps on my phone (even standing next to the router) and now I get over 1000mbps which is what I have contracted.

Plugged in tonight. Speed is about 980mbps. In phone..but different readings on my gadgets ill try again Tommorow, hopefully the speeds will continue to my consoles and apps.. easy to set up plug and make new name up.. i like that. Doesn't show your network..need to download erros app from android or Apple.simple enough . Took a while to figure it out as have multiple gadgets hopefully stays up to speed,speed test on stick was not good. Only a 100 odd mbps .was getting 400-500mbps with my ip so will check again tomorrow. Will update Tommorow. Sent ticket to erros staff not heard back yet but at least they sent email to confirm fingers crossed. As its a good concept. Just be careful when adding new WiFi as my email address showed up !!:( wtf .didn't like that. ,so yep will update tomorrow, let it boot in. etc .. wdnt let me play my xbox BTW dont know why. As every thing else worked ok. Maybe my hdmi lead as its a2way splitter nvidia worked fine tho .hmm just xbox seems an issue 🤔 and firecube had the 100 odd mbps. Very strange indeed .just did the 3rd one on phone. .speeds up to 900kbps I'll unplug ,if does same tomorrow I'm sending it back ..not happy with this for the price. ..no .no .nope .can't believe it's that bad now know that's reason why Xbox ain't working .this is bad . .now on the actual app and its saying this speed. Im stumped. .tbh..i will continue tomorrow. Update..im now returning thsi..and lastly ,when i unplugged it. Tbe bottom of the router was really really hot. ,it would have eventually caught on fire. So its a blessing in disguise. As its definitely got a fault I thank amazon for the return and refund. ,will be taking it to drop of point shortly also the lady from errros said with this I should get 500mbps. ,well I actually get that speed from my IP as it is. So it just confirms this is a useless item..and has many flaws. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone I hope this helps people in this predicament ty

Nice product. Easy to install and not too obvious

I bought the three pack so I could have an eero on each floor of my house. The ground floor eero is designated as the Gateway unit and is plugged directly into the BT fibre panel (I do not use the BT home hub in my setup). The other two are hardwired with cat6 Ethernet into a TP link switch which then connects to the other port in the Gateway eero unit. I have BT Full Fibre 500 and have no issues getting this speed from the router. As my eero's are all hardwired they all operate at full gigabit speed and I have strong WiFi all over the house. I cannot comment on the WiFi linking as I do not use this. I regularly have at least 20 devices connected from vacuums to speakers and phones etc. There have been no issues with the number of devices connected. The app is good and fairly featured, you can change your DNS settings and setup various LAN settings like the DHCP pool type etc. I would have liked a VPN server built it, but its not the end of the world. The eeroPlus package is far too expensive, £99 a year! The inclusion of 1Password, Malwarebytes & Encrypt.Me are not interesting (to me) as I use alternatives. Ad Blocking & Content Filters would have been nice, but can be configured separately with a PiHole or something similar. I would have perhaps paid £20 a year for the main stuff without the external apps. If any of these things are a requirement to have within the app and you don't want to pay the fee then I would suggest looking elsewhere (Asus perhaps) as these things are baked in by default! I picked this up on a Black Friday deal so it was very reasonable, I would not have paid full price. Overall, it has very much been plug in, setup and not worry about it since! A great buy.

Its a very good product with definitely noticeable results but it does take a little bit of planning to set up and i forgot it makes a new network you will need to connet to
