The pellets are not chewable at all by tortoise. My tortoise hates this product.

Great for tortoises
Sadly crazy expensive in Europe, but loved by almost all tortoises. Our baby tortoise literally comes running when she realizes there's Mazuri on the plate. I soak it up in warm water before offering.

My tortoise love it!
The pellets are easy to use and I just soak it with some water and he eats it right up. I do put it on top of greens and grass.

Good food to supplement greens and hay
A Sulcata Tortoise wandered into my yard, it was 110 degrees outside. At the time, I didn't even know how to spell tortoise, but brought him inside the gate as I started the search for the owners. I bought Mazuri LS to supplement the greens, hay, and bermuda grass I gave him; he really liked it and it gave me, a total tortoise dummy, the peace of mind that he was getting proper nutrition until his owners were found.
