I bought this router kit to increase the hinge depth hole in my kitchen door to accommodate what I thought were needed to accept replacement hinges . I needn’t have worried as the hinges fitted perfectly. However I’m going to keep this tool set for future use , it is well made and has all you need for adjusting existing doors or starting from scratch DIY. From the picture you might think that the head of the router is made of red plastic with cutting blades set into it. In fact the entire router is metal and the red bits simply painted on. TOP : Print off the site page showing how to use the included positioning template for future use otherwise it would be difficult and in my case impossible to figure out. Good tool- good price

Bought this for setting up the door on a replacement integrated washing machine. Couldn't have been simpler to use. Gives perfect position for the new hinges. The cutter have a perfect no edge damage hinge cut out at exactly the correct depth.. An excellent purchase. Was delivered exactly on time as arranged..The tool was extremely well packaged. Great purchase.

It isn’t the easiest to use. I got it to make wardrobe doors and need the holes to match the location of Ikea wardrobe doors! But for a reasonable position on the door the screws had to be screwed in almost all the way. It did the job just could do with some improvements.

Although like most people have said, the hole in the jig is smaller than the drill bit, but it useful for positioning the hole. It does mean that you need to find the centre of the hole and take a little more care positioning the bit. If I was drilling more holes I'd have just drilled the bit through the jig to make it the correct size. But only use it for two holes and it worked fine

Used this to rout 4 holes for integrated washer dryer door hinges, magnetic catch and rubber stopper. Have never done this before but cut the holes with ease. I particularly like that you can set the depth of cut so no risk of cutting straight through the door. I would definitely recommend this and is much cheaper than many alternatives.

Highly recommend for drilling Door hinges the jig is good and sturdy and the drillbit nice and sharp use many of times
