Review: Very useful, helps prevent wastage and looks good when applied correctly - Caulking Finisher Nozzle The problem I'm sure many of us find with caulking guns, is that it is a bit hit and miss on how much of the plastic nozzle do we snip off, especially if only using part of the tube. You may need a large amount of the contents to be dispensed today, but tomorrow you may wish to use the remainder on a different project which requires a far smaller bead. This can lead to borrowing screw on dispenser caps from other new tubes. This pack of finisher nozzles solves the problem by supplying 14 different nozzle shapes to cover most eventualities. I'm sure these will also help prevent a huge amount of wastage of compound which in turn will soon cover the cost of the nozzles. I was pleased to find these nozzles were not just supplied loose in a bag or box as often happens with tools like this. In this case they are nicely presented in a tough plastic box keeping them all together and safe. The nozzles come in various shapes and sizes each providing a different bead shape, so not only can you apply the compound efficiently, you can also improve it's appearance out of the gun. These are made from thin stainless steel and will last for ages, the only downside is that they will need to be thoroughly cleaned after each use which I'm sure will be easy if dropped in solvent or brush cleaner. I must admit that the way these are fixed to the caulking gun appears a little 'Heath Robinson' but it does work and works well. You fist need to trim off the tip on the plastic applicator to allow a good flow of compound, then wrap tape around it, slide the chosen nozzle over the applicator tip and use a second layer of tape to secure in place. In use they work well, I tried a couple of them out using an almost empty tube of frame sealant that I had in my shed. The nozzles were easy to attach, although the plastic nozzle does need to be perfectly clean for the tape to stick. The beads were easy to apply and looked neat with no minimal wastage. CONTENTS: 14 x Various Nozzle Shapes 1 x Storage Box Thank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful. Review: Good Selection of Nozzles, but not Easy to Use - I really liked the idea of having a selection of nozzles for getting the desired bead size with caulk or mastic, but these are clumsy to use. They are made out of stainless steel, but not well made in my opinion. There are a good selection of nozzles, but some of the smaller, or some of the larger one, you would have a job to get to stay on in use, I doubt some would even go on. I seriously doubt that you would use many of the included sizes. You are expected to trim the plastic nozzle that comes as standard with mastic or caulk and then slip these over the top, the trouble is, that some are difficult to fit at all, and some are so big that even if you tape them on to use (as suggested) you would be unlikely to stop them from falling off in use. Additionally due to the size of the larger ones I don't think the caulk would spread evenly across the opening of the nozzle. They come in a very thin, but resealable click lock style box, but it is very poorly made, the one I received already had a broken "hinge", and that was just on arrival. The idea is sound, reusable stainless steel caulk or mastic nozzles, but, given that the thread on most these tubes is standard, they would have been better producing a set of nozzles to produce the bead sizes, but where each one screws onto the tube like the normal nozzles do. There are a good selection of sizes as I said, but for the quality and usability, I think that ยฃ11.49 is a bit expensive.

More pro finish
Takes a bit of getting used to but now Iโm getting the hang of it and does provide a better finish for silicone and caulk. Recommend

14 nozzles in a box
Who does nโt want a smooth nice finish when applying silicone or sealant? These are add-on metal nozzles for applying sealant or caulk. It comes in a see-through box with metal attachments in the following sizes: 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 9mm, 10mm, 12mm, 13mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm, 26mm, 28mm, 30mm and 35mm The nozzles themselves are not labelled with the size. You have plenty of nozzles to choose from. The nozzles are made of stainless steel. Depending on how you want to use. You will need to secure the metal nozzle with plastic tape (not supplied). You will need additional equipment. It is worth practicing a bit, to test your skills and become familiar with the product. If you are a beginner, please do check, the seal, as any water leak can be costly. There are no instructions on usage.

Far better than the plastic ones
Lots of different sized nozzles, well machined and perfect for the diyer or even someone in the trade. Easily washable and far better than the plastic rubbish you get with standard silicone sleeves that are basically one use wonders.

Finish will depend on gained experience.
I think these nozzles sound a better idea than they actually are. I experimented with two sizes of nozzle. Using normal electrical tape I found it difficult to get the nozzles attached. I ended up using self amalgamating tape and because it is rubbery I found the nozzle was more securely attached. People who are adept at caulking may find this system useful. For the rest of us it will be practice and a steady hand. I am not sure about these.

Good value for money
Caulking and I don't tend to get along very well so I was dubious about trying these nozzles. The pack contains 14, so it's good value for money. Choosing the right size can be a bit of a faff plus you might need to use some tape, so keep some to hand. If you can get the right nozzle attached, then the finish is good. Probably requires a bit more practice for me.
