To program this to my 10 key dip switch, do I need to be near the main box? Do I need to put the remote in program mode or just match the switches?

The ASONPAO 300MHZ is not compatible with Chamberlain garage door openers. These mini remotes are only compatible with linear multicode 10 dip remotes.
