This product, when used according to directions, turns out perfectly clear 2 inch cubes of ice just like your favorite bar or restaurant. It really makes a difference when enjoying your favorite libation over ice.

There's some nuances to using it but it does create crystal clear ice.

I love having an adult beverage in the evening usually from Kentucky or Tennessee. I also love having that beverage with a big ice cube. This ice cube maker tray is awesome for that. First of all, the cubes are huge. Secondly, the cubes come out clear like they've been cleaned with Windex. They take longer to melt and make that adult beverage much more enjoyable. It cools without watering it down. It's super easy to use and very easy to get the ice out.

I have tried everything, including using filtered water and boiling water. Boiling the water takes the bubbles and air out of the water to possibly make it clearer. However, the ice cubes are still not clear.

PROs 1. Large Ice Cube Maker - 2 inch Qty 8 + the bottom mold the size of a brick. 2. It requires lots of mold to make ICE clear (this does take up space in your freezer). 3. Plastic Container to hold ICE was included. CONS 1. Consume tons of space for ice, but you'll have a large brick as well as large squares. 2. It does come clear a bit but I still had spots in it. 3. It's a bit pricey $37 for silicone mode and foam. 4. Requires making ICE manually and waiting about 24 hrs for 8 cubes.

Anyone who likes a cold beverage (alcoholic or not) will appreciate these large cubes. No special tech provided to freeze water but the mold is easy to work with and the tray is handy for storage in the freezer.
