I make alot of bean soups, this base is dandy for that very flavorful, great flavor not much salt, little pricey for the size but great quality overall.

The only review necessary is that this versatile bouillon is a must have staple! Thank you Amazon for carrying it so affordable and for delivery it so quickly so I could make my ham soup the next day! This is the perfect aromatic flavoring and seasoning for any soup or ham dish! Great to flavor to a rice dish because it’s quick and easy.

I only use this type of bullion. It does need to be refrigerated. It lasts a very long time. I’ve never gone. Go bad it is especially fine for switching to anything With beans split pea soup it’s the best handball I’ve ever seen and actually it all I have one of each

Great product to season string beans without all the fat! Great ham flavor!!!

I use this all the time. Normally I buy it in the local grocery store but now I can’t seem to find it there. Thankfully Amazon saved the day. My only issue with this was it is pricy for what it is. I use it to season navy beans , green beans, cooked cabbage, basically anything that you would use ham to season.

This has suddenly been hard to find locally so I’m glad to find it here. If you are any kind of Southern cook you use bacon fat to season properly. This takes all of the bad out and leaves only the flavor. I use it to season multiple dishes and it lasts a while since you only have to use a little but get big flavor. I use several Better Than Bouillon flavors but this is my all time favorite by far.

I ha d unexpected company come by. And around dinnertime I was unprepared. So I opened up several cams of northern beans, added a about 1/2 teaspoonsful of this ham flavor and you would have thought that I had been cooking that soup all day. I just added some cornbread and voila! Dinner was served and everyone raved about the flavor of the beans!

I just bought this. I used it only once so far. It has a very smoky flavor. It’s a bit more then I like so I will use it sparely .

I ordered the product; but when arrived there was only 1 instead of 6. contacted them right away and they were very accommodating and just refunded my full order and let me keep the 1 jar. Easy to deal with and it is such a good flavor. Thank you

If you have not tried Better Than Bullion, your missing out. It is simply one of the best there is.

I make lots of soups and spend A LOT on stock cubes. This paste is has a rich, deep ham flavour, which goes a long way and makes it much more economical to use. I will be ordering it again!

The product (as with all their products) are very good. I never got an explanation for short-shipping though. Perhaps there is a middleman who is trying to take advantage. If so, he should be barred from selling any products on Amazon!
