It is a nice pump, but there is no information on fitting size to connect it, tried 1/2 " fittings at hardware store but they don't fit (they were NPT threads) I found it takes a 1/2" BSPP connector. After getting the correct fittings I tested it and it does work as described. A little more information on connection fittings in the description would help.

It IS brushless and magnetic drive !I did not check available head height however it works great for me with a 6' head.

In addition to being a great little pump for an aquarium it seems that many water makers for boats also use these pumps for booster pumps.Easy to wire and the plumbing connections were a breeze (thankfully!). The install probably took less than 5 minutes.Highly recommended 👍🏽Helpful? 👇🏽

The pump housing cracked and the water shorted out the pump in 2 days.I live in the Midwest and decided to utilize one of my 12 volt solar panels to circulate through a short section of black garden hose to heat my pool for free. It worked like a charm for exactly 2 days. Somehow, even submerged in the pool, the pump overheated, the housing cracked, and shorted out the unit.While it worked, the flow was slow but it was OK for my purpose as it allowed the water to heat up a bit more and it accomplished my goal. The pool water was 76 degrees F going in but 90 degrees coming out... so that was a win on the design. That may not seem like much but running like this day after day (if it would have lasted) can make a big temp difference, especially when coupled with a solar blanket to insulate at night. It was great because when the sun went down the solar panel stopped supplying power, so it was like a dawn to dusk monitor built in. However the longevity was a joke.I'll be trying out a different brand of 12v motor that hopefully will last.

It's quiet. No where near 5m head, it struggled to push water up 6ft through a straight hose. By then end of the day, the shaft stripped and I've got a useless pump.
