uxcell Spring Loaded Hinges, 1" 304 Stainless Steel Self Closing Hinge for Cabinet 4pcs

I got the hinges to use 2 to raise a mailbox flag for " Mails here". Worked great on a tin sign 6" wide X 10" high.

However it’s not going to work for what I have to use it for… had to return for a refund but it did arrive on time so satisfied with the service but it was not suitable for the project in mind.

These hinges have very strong springs and should work well on even heavy cupboard or similar doors.

These hinges were purchased to install on a sink cabinet face piece so i could make a holder for a scrubber or small brush that could be concealed when not in use. The face plate was maybe half a pound but probably less. With two hinges applied there was almost zero tension so they would not work to close the face plate and that was before I installed a little caddy on the inner surface. The material was also very cheap and definitely not worth the price paid, which I think was almost $9. Maybe worth $1.50 and only for a tiny project like maybe a jewelry box top.

Used them for replacement of old hinges on a clothes shoot. The holes even matched pretty close.
