I'm not sure if any of us who bought the mug would be in a position to answer this question...but....the company itself does answer this question specifically in the question section posted on Amazon under the product summary “These mugs are lead free. They pass the US FDA CPG Sec. 545.400 and CPG Sec. 545.450 - Leachable Lead and Cadmium - TEST. They are produced in our factory in Quanzhou City, China” .....great mugs

How many ounces do these cups hold?

How flat the bottom so no water accumulates in dishwasher?

Dear Bobi, There is curator on the bottom of the mug. It it about a half a centimeter in depth. We believe it adds character, but do understand your dishwasher issue.
