I use pens for hours daily at work and the longer I use these Parker ballpoint refills the more impressed I become. They are excellent quality. The ink delivery remaims consistent despite weeks of use. This is in contrast to cheaper biros and this is why I am happy to spend a little extra on these refils as the quality is worth it. The refils also last a very long time. Recommended.

These plastic replacements stick in the mechanism and don't allow for an easy click. Takes time to bed in.

Quality refills, but they still tend to blot more than a BIC pen, after a short time, which is annoying.

These are plastic, not metal. They look identical to all other standard ball point refills but are slighty thicker. When I fitted to a twist ball point pen it stuck in the out position. Only way to recover was to unscrew pen and remove the refill. Put original metal refill in and pen twist operation was perfect again. This is when I noticed the refill was plastic and would bend when pushed from the side. Looks to write ok but not much good if will not fit in the pen.
