I finally had a chance to use it. Considering that this is a digital gauge, I was quite happy with the price. I had been using an analog dial gauge, but this is vastly easier to use.

easy to use, the one inch stroke was nice, the quality was easy to see, and a good value for money.

This indicator is nicer than I expected for the price. It has some weight to it, the action is smooth, decent spring pressure, and measurements are repeatable, which is refreshing in the bottom-of-the-barrel world of no-name measurement tools. Also the zero function survives power cycles, so it doesn’t loose reference if you need to shut it off and come back later, which is great if you’re like me using this on an old lathe’s Z axis. My one gripe so far: the “manual” claims a 0.5ms latency… well if I can see the latency, it’s more than that. Now, the lag isn’t horrible by any means, and it’s not a big deal… but why claim that kind of performance when it obviously doesn’t deliver?

I used this indicator to adjust the print surface of my 3d printer and was very pleased with the results. I highly recommend this tool.

Got mine today opened the package looks used already has scratches on the surface of the dial and didn’t have the typical plastic to peel off the screen. It’s usable but I like to have new stuff look new not used and returned then re shipped

Great indicator for the money. I needed to swap the tip. Unfortunately it is a 2.5mm thread so finding a tip set is near impossible.
