The fan's variable speed settings give us more speed options than just low/med/high. You can charge the fan using the AC power charger or the DC output on a power station or car cigarette lighter output. I did call SetPower and checked with them if that is OK to do. The customer service rep checked and said it was fine to charge it that way; it just may take a bit longer to charge. I also asked if the fan battery had overcharge protection, and it does. It's very easy to clean the fan and the blades. Overall, it's well-designed and feels very durable. Runs for 14 hours down to 40% on medium or with the knob sitting at the 80% light on the fan.

I bought 2 of these for when we have storms or the power goes out. It has saved me many times in this Florida heat. I recommend. Its a must have for hurricane season. Great for outdoors too. Battery operated. So no electrical plugs are required. This fan blows!

Loved it for extra air circulation in RV trailer and for using in Camping Pop UP tent for dining. Love it!

The knobs on both sides broke within a couple of months - not enough issue to deal with returns, etc. Just be very careful that it doesn't fall over.
