Fox Run Marble Rolling Pin and Base, Green 2.5 x 18 x 3 inches

Sturdy, beautiful, easy to use and easy to clean! I recommend this for those with pain management problems similar to mine. The wooden one I previously was using needed so much pressure that using it caused me to get pain shooting from my hands to my shoulders as well as gave me migraines. The pain made it so it took a lot longer to roll out dough too. I rarely baked because of this. The weight of the marble one does most of the work for me. I can make my pies much faster now and without pain! We are going to have a lot more pies now! I was concerned about how easy this one would be to clean because of the weight but it's actually not that much harder to hold than the wood one was and cleaning marble is faster than wood. It comes with a little wooden holder that keeps it from rolling off. Simple but effective. It also matches nicely with the handles. I would definitely buy this again!

I received this rolling pin for Christmas. It is great!! This is my first marble rolling pin and it makes a huge difference with timing of doughs. It takes a lot of effort out of the task. The green color is pretty and adds character to my kitchen.

Amazing rolling pin. The green marble is gorgeous. It would make a perfect bridal shower gift. I got this for myself to use for everything I need to roll out. Works amazing and I'll be able to pass it down to my kids. It's so heavy that it takes out 75% of the work of rolling because it is so heavy. Love it so much!!

I love the quality and beautiful to look at! Very smooth and ease to roll smoothly. The price was right and it functions better than anticipated. With the ease of rolling dough out it makes the time go faster for baking. I love having it out to be seen because the quality is a piece of art in my kitchen.

WOW! What Quality! This is a well made, an impressive weight--not cheaply made, great handles that move independently of the rolling pin! Absolutely fantastic. It was well wrapped and double wrapped to keep it from being chipped. This is a 5-star product. I am very impressed! Fabulous price, as well! Highly recommended!

The handles seem a little spindly compared to my wife's 50 year old Folio. She uses it on a Silicone mat and it's smooth as glass. The green is a beautiful color so it's a functional and decorative piece that will, with the wood holder, fit nicely on her countertop. She's rolled a couple of pie dough sheets with it and loves the thing. It is however, very smooth and her cookies won't roll out with the dings, dents, and dimples, the old Folio does.

This rolling pin is very well-made and solid. I’m somewhat of a pastry dough snob and will only use home-made puff pastry for all pies. This is a must-have because you need that weight to allow a stable even roll-out to prevent dough breakage (and butter leakage) after rolling out each turn.

I'm very pleased with this rolling pin! As you'd expect from real marble with wooden handles, it does need to be gently washed by hand, which was expected. It is heavy, so if you struggle lifting things, it may not be for you, but I like the extra weight since it feels like I don't need to make too many passes to roll-out dough. I only wish the stand and handles were a darker wood, but that's purely a matter of taste!

Great quality rolling pin at a fair price = value. Is weighed so you don't have to jump on your pizza dough and makes life easier that way. Also has a stylish holder.

This roller is nice and heavy, and good looking.

I have a variety of rolling pins for different tasks. This is great for shortcrust pastry, as marble is naturally very resistant to sticking. It can be placed in the fridge or freezer ahead of time to make it extra cold for rolling pastry dough. The weight means that less effort is needed on my end. It is very easy to wipe it clean. It comes with a small wooden stand to prevent it from rolling around. Only complaint would be that the centre steel rod could be more robust. The handles feel like they have a bit of give in them. Not sure how that will last overtime, but I also dont have any other rolling pins with handles, so if it breaks, I am assuming the marble pin itself should still be solid and fine. Mine has no obvious fissures or weak spots in the marble. For the price, I was very happy with this pin. It suits my needs, and as an added bonus, it is very attractive green marble which goes well in my kitchen.

I bought this as a gift for a friend because I have a marble rolling pin and love it. This one seems ok. Nice and heavy and very pretty. My only complaint is that the handles are quite wobbly. Not nearly as sturdy as my rolling pin. Hopefully it works for my friend.
