These actually work
I'm only 5' tall, a little overweight, 67 years old with osteoporosis and live in a 3d floor walk up--lots of stairs. I bought a new countertop convection oven and had to get it up all those damn stairs but could not even lift the box, the box was more than half my height too. My brawny friends and relatives all live out of town so I didn't want to ask them just to come in to carry this thing up the stairs for me. So, I bought these straps. I didn't want the ones that go over your forearms because all I needed way to have my bones snap in half. As a younger person, I was able to carry stuff up on my back or on my head but this box was too big and unweildy. After spending about an hour trying to figure out how to put the straps onto the box (and then taking an hour break too sooth my rattled disposition), I did carry it up, had to do some dance steps around the tight turns but I did it! Of course, the box is now sitting in my hallway, with the straps still on it because my old convection oven hasn't given up the ghost quite yet (only a few more heating coils are functional though) and I don't know what to do with the old one once it dies. But these straps really work. I had no problems with unravelings or whatever some of the other reviewers said. Not sure I'd want to try lifting a piano or refrigerator though, even if the straps could handle it (I probably can't). Hmm, I am also a petitely built female so those straps were a little iffy on my shoulders, I could have used a strap going across my chest to keep the straps from sliding off--but I suppose I could just rope them on me, or maybe I'll never have to get anything large and heavy ever again. I hate it when my stuff dies on me, it REALLY ought to last forever.

I used it as a set of handles for a 60-lb box that was too big for my arms
I had a 60-lb air conditioner in a box. The box was too big to put my arms around it and pick it up or carry it by myself. And I had to go up stairs! I got this set of straps thinking that I might be able to carry the AC box on my back. The 60 lb load on my back would have been dangerously unbalanced on a flight of stairs. So, I used the straps in a different way. I wrapped them around the box. I held the loops (tightly!) with my hands while also looping my forearms through the belts. (I was holding the straps with both my hands and my forearms.) It wasn't easy, but I was never in danger of dropping it or falling with it. My arms are more like noodles than telephone poles and I was able to use these straps to carry a poorly balanced 60-lb air conditioner box up a flight of stairs without damaging anything or hurting myself. The ArtiGifts straps saved the day.

Handy but loose straps and latches could be improved
I couldnt believe i was actually carrying a 150lbs speaker up three floors. That being said one of the latches wasnt latching properly so i was paranoid the whole time. That and the loose straps could be improved

Useless for heavy or tall packages
First off, one of the buckles was installed backwards on the strap so I had to have a twist at the arm loop. The material they use has way too much give. Because the fabric stretches a heavy object will not sit against your back where you can get your balance and control the weight distribution. (I was trying to move a 66lb beframe in 4' long box). Instead, it hangs off your body and shifts around while you move. Constantly felt like the straps were just about to slip and drop the package. Definitely too unstable to make it up 5 flights of stairs. Can't speak to durability as I quickly decided these were not fit for the job. May be fine for light objects that are just awkwardly sized, but there's no way the man on the label is taking that refrigerator up the stairs with these. There has got to be a better version of this out there! Until I find it, it's back to hand trucks or hoisting things on my shoulder.

Can Use For Numerous Jobs
I purchased this to help me carry a mini fridge for when I packed for and from camping. I also used this to help bring a large glass curio cabinet into my house and down a narrow hallway. Not only keeps the object closed and secure but gives you a padded handle to work with. I know these will come I to use In the future as well.

Very limited usefulness
Useful for lifting items that are just the right height. But for short items, you can't crouch down low enough to get the item on your back. For tall items, lifting up on the shoulder loop just causes the loop around the item you're trying to lift to rotate around the item.

Good for medium to medium large, sized appliances
My husband got this to use for moving some things around when he does not have help. It comes with two straps. He said they are well made. The hardware is good quality. They lock and hold well. He said the padding on the straps is enough to keep it from cutting in. He said it was fairly comfortable to hold and carry an efficiency refrigerator, but he would not try and use these to carry a full size refrigerator on his own. He also used it to carry and move an all in one washer dryer combo and said it was much easier to move it alone that he thought with these. I would buy these again.

Peccato.

Got took $$ wise. There are the same or similar advertised elsewhere, at much cheaper prices, but alas, I didn't find them until I had already ordered these. They are quite simply straps. Canvas straps. I am certain that they will do what they are supposed to as they are sturdy, but I'm still upset that I overpaid for straps, simply straps. I never forget, so I will be upset forever.
