Works well for controlling cooling fans and other motors.
I bought 2 of these to control 2 radiator fans that I used to build a cooling system in my SxS. Everything works very good and being able to control the fan speed is awesome. You need to know how to wire electrical components and build them to withstand the conditions theyโll be used in. In the least, understand instructions so you can effectively build your electrical system.

Works Perfectly for my use case
I already reviewed this but here it is again. My use case was to provide variable speed control to a 12v Kamado Joe smoker air blower fan motor. I selected this PWM unit because the exterior design would look almost "factory" on my blower motor housing. The terminal block is well labeled and robust. The dial is a digitizer which makes it a lot more flexible. When I first tested this set up, the controller was not linear, meaning the fan didn't turn on until the dial was set above 20% power. After that, the motor speed ramped up to 100% at a setting of 50% on the digitizer. That would have worked but i wanted a very fine linear control as air flow on a KJ is critical to stable temps. I corrected this by inserting a 4.7 ohm 25-watt resistor on the + fan lead. It now works perfectly. The motor starts at 1% and ramps up to full speed at 100% dialed power setting. My motor only draws 1.5 amps so the 12A capacity of this unit indicates major over engineering so it should last a long time.

Good product for the price
Arrived on time, works well.

Great device
Works great for my application. Built a fan for my side by side and it controls the speed great.

Good value
I use this to control the cooling fan speed on a mini excavator. I have about 30 hours on the machine now and the controller is working like a champ. Very simple to control, affordable and simple wiring.

Don't get wet otherwise otherwise a good product
The speed control device worked well until capacitor blue or something like that I don't know exactly what but I think maybe it's because of it was wet outside and just rain so just letting everybody know that yes the water will ruin it

Controls small trolling motor well
I bought this for a small trolling motor and I had reservations, but it said that it could handle 12 amps and that is way more than the motor I had so I thought I would give it a try. It works great so far, I now have infinite speed control from 0-100 percent, though below about 15% the motor isn't actually turning anymore. I've been meaning to test if I'm losing any speed by bypassing it completely, but I haven't had a chance yet. it just seems that with the small wire size and how small the controller is that it must lose some output potentially, but it definitely has been working well for speed control. I can turn it down and just follow the shoreline at a crawls casting into potential spots as cruise along or set my trolling speed where it feels right, so I love it so far.

Love it!!
This motor controller works great for my project. The steps on the knob can be felt clearly. It looks nice when powered up. Only thing that I see won't with it is that the display label doesn't need to say ON / OFF, because there's no switch, so that makes no sense. It does have an indicator above the knob that tells you which way increases or decreases the power. At 0 the motor isn't running but the knob will still turn so there's no on/of function to it. It's a minor issue, maybe at one point it did have a switch function and the label just hadn't been updated? Lol. I used this on a 12V, 80W radiator fan. So it pulls like 6.66A at 100%. Worked just fine in my tests. I haven't put it to long term use as I'm still building my project, but I like the look, feel and function. Plus the price is killer!!! Best deal out there for something that can handle the power I need to put through it.
