Clear directions; easy to assemble. The wood grain front is attractive with traditional & modern decor. I purchased this with a focus on design, size, locking mechanism, and value for money spent. The cabinet is in a study area adjacent to our kitchen. We use the top drawers to secure medications. The bottom is for light files. The cabinet is easily moved with its wheels. Overall we’re happy with this product. It was shipped and delivered very quickly which was also a requirement for us.

To address some other reviews I got lucky here and didn't have any missing parts or drill holes. My installation went perfectly! The only hiccup was getting the vernier in the back to fit into the assembled drawers slots. Alignment is tricky and it needs to slot in all the way down. Aside from that this is a great very sturdy unit when assembled and I'm happy with the product. As spoken of before having a power drill will provide a big benefit. Be handy and bring your tools and you'll enjoy this filing cabinet's quality. Assembly took about 1 hour.My only gripe was that the revised version I have includes 4 casters not 6 as in the product photo. This isn't an issue but rather an improvement as it makes rolling it around on wood floors much easier. Also the casters include locks that are very effective in keeping it in place.I enjoy this and the set up time was worth it for a very decent quality product.

I bought this item to replace an older file cabinet. I like that it offer 3 drawers (1big and 2small). I like the that the top drawer is locking if needed. Lastly I really like the look and sturdiness of the unit. I all I am very happy with my purchase.

Wasn’t to hard to put together but does come with a lot of small pieces. The locking mechanism is broken which is unfortunate because that’s why I purchased this filing cabinet over others. However it wasn’t worth taking it all apart and returning over the lock. Overall it’s functional and looks good in my office space.

I am so happy with this item! More than expected! This arrived a few short days after ordering ( i think 3 or 4). The quality of the wood is AMAZING for the price and exceeded all of my expectations. All of the tools and instructions were in the box and it was very simple to assemble as it only took me 30 minutes with a simple screw driver. The unit's lock is amazing and my favorite of it all. I think the seller has great customer service and the process from opening the box to assembly was a great experience! i will order many furniture pieces from hereon!OVERALL - 10/10 ! Beautiful, classy and high quality piece for a very affordable item.

First, I will admit that I am at fault for waiting almost a year to put this together, and therefore am completely out of the return period. After purchasing, we ended up selling our house and placed many things in storage, this was one, and I just pulled it out and tried to assemble it today.Before detailing the issues, I also want to point out that the quality of this item is much less than what I have found on other furniture, such as Sauder. I have put together MANY items from Sauder (and other similar brands) and have never had the issues I found with this item.That being said, this item is an absolute waste of money. There were several things wrong with this file cabinet and I know we were sent a used item. I will list the issues in order of the steps in the instruction book:Step: Pre-Work – not step one, but technically the first step (page 4 of the instructions).• All “holes” where screw “1012” are to go are just dots, there are no holes for any of these spots on any step where these screws are to be used. If you purchase this, make sure you pre-screw the holes before installing the item for that step.Step 1: Same issue with screws as mentioned above.Step 3: Not an official issue, but more of a frustration – available space to screw the items together is very small, due to how close the screw is to the edge of the wall. You will need small hands, or you WILL bang your knuckles many times doing this step.Step 4: This is where I figured out the item I had was used. One of the holes that are to be used for this step was clearly busted/broken and was too big for the item to fit, which is where I saw wood putty applied (poorly I would like to add) to the wood to make the hole the “right” size for the item.• It seemed as though someone attempted to pull the item out of the hole when sending this back and busted the wood, then tried to hide it with wood putty.Step 5: Item 1013 – missing from package (another clue I had a used item)Step 6: Screw “dots” (dots, not holes – see issue as described in “pre-work” step) were crooked, and therefore the stabilizing wheel was crooked.Finally – when putting the drawers in the cabinet after assembly was complete:• The middle drawer (yes, the correct one, the one without the lock) would not go all the way in. It was getting caught on the drawer above it. No matter how much I tried, I could not get it to work correctly.• For the bottom drawer, we found out that the slide on the right side (when looking at the front of the cabinet) would not slide in or out at all. Also, we were not able to get the drawer to go in more than halfway.Please do not waste your money on this. There are MANY other options that have to be better than this one. If you do buy this, please make sure you attempt to assemble before the return period is over, so you can at least get your money back.

I Needed to get a good little cabinet for my new work-from-home office. I was looking for something that have plenty of storage space and a secure lock but does not take much space itself. This one is exactly what I needed. It holds copy paper and office supplies in the smaller drawer above and all my files and folders in the bottom drawer.( the files are actually going sideways which i like) The unit comes with wheels and that perfect because it can get heavy when loaded with your paper work ad supplies and the lock is locking all drawers for security LOVE IT. It does require assembly, but it doesn’t take long. Took me About 30 min. The unit is sturdy and strong. and make a beautiful piece of furniture , Overall this is a great addition to my little Home office. 5 out of 5!
