Perfect and real product it gives new life to my lg fridge

The seller delivered the faulty LG double door defrost timer. The timer was loosely packed. I checked the timer for continuity and resistance both. There is no resistance between pin 1 and pin 3, that means motor is not rotating which also means that timer remains stuck in single position i.e. mostly in cooling. Which also means compressor will always be running and consuming power. Beside when I rotated the spindle to check clicking for defrost (heating) cycle, with a single click it jumps to cooling cycle again, that means gears are worn out inside. Avoid this buyer. And learn how to check the defrost timer first before installing it in refrigerator. Defrosting will not happen and there will be lot of ice accumulation behind inside wall of fridge. There are lot of faulty defrost timers floating around in the market. Don't rely on only continuity check. Also check the resistance. Thanks to amazon associate for understanding my pain and arranging the refund. Ratings about the product are totally deceptive. Amazon should ban such sellers who sell defective items.

Value for MOney, very Common issue in Refrigerator older than 10 years, Technician charged in thousands for same issue. Easy to Fit and working perfectly.
