I’ve been very impressed with the Xega 4G LTE Cellular Security Camera. We purchased it to monitor a remote construction site where there is no power or Wi-Fi, and it has exceeded our expectations. The motion detection works great and sends alerts whenever someone is on the property. Through the app, we can check in anytime, watch live video, record footage, take photos, and even speak through the camera. The solar panel has kept the camera fully charged without any issues, so we haven’t had to worry about power at all. Setup was fairly easy, although the instructions could definitely be improved. It reminded me of trying to set up an Android phone when you’re used to an iPhone—you have to play around with it a little, but once you do, everything makes sense. The instructions also made it sound like a separate SIM card was needed, but the SIM card is already built into the camera. You’ll just need to purchase a cloud storage plan if you want to save recordings and a cellular data plan if you’re using the camera somewhere without Wi-Fi. One feature I really appreciated was that we initially set the camera up on our home Wi-Fi, then moved it to our construction site where there is no Wi-Fi. It automatically connected to the cellular network without any additional setup. I was concerned we would have to reconfigure everything, but it switched over seamlessly. We’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and are genuinely impressed with the video quality, features, and overall performance—especially considering the price. Another nice bonus is that multiple family members can use the app on their own phones without paying additional subscription fees. Overall, this is an excellent value and a great solution for anyone needing reliable security at a remote property, construction site, farm, or vacation home.

Perfect for locations without electricity or internet service - this camera uses existing nationwide 4G cellphone networks to provide real-time SD/HD video and audio loaded to the cloud, a built-in microphone so you can hear what's happening, and a LOUD speaker so you can scold trespassers remotely while taking screen caps for the police report you're going to file. Automatic motion detection and a variety of response settings - you won't be tied to a monitoring station. Nice cell-phone based control app. Friendly, overnight support staff responses via the app. At this price, you won't be too upset at petty vandalism or even outright camera theft. Removable solar panel and loooong usb cable works well on cloudy days and in indirect light keeping your on-site maintenance time to a minimum. Easy to follow instructions, the camera can be installed indoors or outdoors with a hand drill, screwdriver and maybe a step ladder. There are more expensive, ruggedized, remote cameras available, but this one saves your pocketbook. **Aug 2025 Update** I want to commend Manufacturer’s customer service. Shout out to Rebecca! I needed assistance with a camera that dropped off network and wasn’t responding to the usual ‘fixes’. She got me back up and running within 24 hours and followed up later in the week to make certain that the camera was still working properly.

update....this piece of junk died in 8 months, customer service is non-existent, they text you at 4am, zero help getting this pos up and running, this is a scam to sell you a cheap pos camera, then sell you the $175 sim card, that's what they are selling data. i have it 600 miles away at our off grid cabin in Maine, picture is ok, had one little glitch when there was a big storm, we have pretty shotty cell signal cause we're in the mountains, but it still works micro sd card is useless, it wont work on just an SD card, but the cloud service is super quick, very poor customer service and the app is not good, this is a cheap camera, i will never buy another ..i would def not recommend this company. update 2nd camera died in 8 months, customer service is in China, have to wait days to get a response keep you updated ...not good, sim card ran out in 8 months, new sim cards are even more money now, and they won't transfer the data to a new sim card, the new camera i had to buy is worse than the old one and it has a built in sim card so you can't even take the old one with data on it and put it in your new camera, what a frickin scam, cheap means cheap, my REO-LINK cameras are 4 years old and are in the weather unlike these junk cameras and they are working perfect and way better customer service, just when you think you know what your doing..smfh just a disaster

I think this is a very decent camera for the price and the quality is pretty good too, no complain at all when it comes to quality, cost and performance, all that is good, also, the cellular connection is very stable and accessible from all over the world, so i would recommend this camera as it is cost effective. The only downside I see is the cell plan that it doesn't allow a bundle connection and every single camera has to have its own independent cell plan to be able to see it live, also the 30 days trial does not work as promoted, the third or in less than a week, I was forced to buy the cell plan, otherwise it would not allow me to access the cameras remotely, for the rest, they are a good cost accessible option. I would buy additional if I needed to.

I bought this camera for a construction jobsite as we were having issues with theft & vandalism on the property. Without power and WIFI on site, it was hard to find a camera without those capabilities. After reading several reviews, I decided to go with this one. It was very easy to set up and install. I love that I get notifications when there is movement on the camera. I also love that a siren is activated when there is movement to deter potential thieves. You are also able to zoom in and out and move the camera remotely thru the app. Since installing the camera over a month ago, we haven't had any issues. The only downside is that it runs off of a 4G network since there is no WIFI. You have to purchase data in order for the camera to work. It is well worth that cost to not loose hundreds of dollars of materials or pay for the repairs from vandalism. The only thing I would change is being able to know how much data is left before it runs out so data can be added. I would definitely recommend this camera.

I've had issues with stolen materials on one of my construction sites and decided to opt into buying a relatively cheap camera recording system to monitor the work site. It's been great! Setup and Installation - The mechanics and assembly of the device is very straight forward. Securing the device onto a wall via mounting bracket is simple and intuitive. While the software setup was a bit confusing, product support was quick and responsive to my email. They had diagnosed the issue within 1 email thread. Operations and Maintenance - I had my doubts in regards to the solar panel and the device being in good battery health. However, the product met and passed my expectations. Since installing the product facing easternly in a non-shady area, the device never had any issues with power and was able to stay on throughout the day with ease. The motion detection feature works perfectly as there are settings that can allow me to change the sensitivity. The device will make an audible sound (this can be turned on or off) and my phone is notified whenever motion is detected; This is perfect for my use case so I can see who is coming onsite and offsite. Quality and Performance - The device is weighted and feels good quality; The casing of the device has been rained on multiple times and the device still operates normally. The camera recording quality is good enough to visually identify individuals. Nothing to complain here.

I got this camera to check in on my horse. He lives a farther from me than I like and with weather and his age, it's nice to know I can take a peek at him. It comes with a free data trial card, which is great to try before you go spend money on a service. I really appreciated this camera and the quality it brought for such a decent price. I had it for about 11 mos when suddenly it started to not have a full charge. I've never seen it dip, so I got a little concerned. Resetting it was the only thing that could kick start a charge, but it still would never get to 100%. I reached out to their customer service and spoke with Kiki, who was prompt in responding. Now there are some reviews that complain they respond in the middle of the night and that's true. However, I'm guessing it's because they're in another country. Still, emailing a customer service in the US still take 24+ hrs sometimes so I had no complaints with this. Kiki made some suggestions to try like charging it with cable it comes with, but the thought of taking it down so I can plug it in was just going to be a pain I didn't want. So she opted to just send me a new camera just for the inconvenience. It's up and running and has a full charge. Kiki was a great help for me to continue to see my horse. I have friends there with the Reolink and they've had to completely replace theirs in under a yr because it just stopped working. Mine still worked, just wasn't getting the full charge. If they hadn't sent me a new one, I would still be using it. I don't record so it only charging a little was enough for me to check in on him for a few weeks until I swapped it out. I would definitely look into another one if I ever find need for a 2nd.

Buyer beware!!! Camera constantly goes offline and customer service is a joke!!!! There fix for everything is to send you a new SIM card & reset. It takes them over 24 hrs to respond and then close to 2 weeks for replacement SIM card to get to you. UBIA is the company that handles customer service and they are completely useless. DO NOT Recommend

Absolutely incredible. I never review products on Amazon; but this has stopped me in my tracks and I feel compelled to write this review. My cattle are 1/2 mile away from any electricity, wifi etc. I needed a camera that I didn’t have to charge, and that didn’t need wifi. The view on this camera is impressive, there’s no lag and I can move the camera around so easily and see my entire herd. The solar power portion works amazing, I haven’t had to intervene and do any manual charges. I will be buying 4 more for the other areas of my property, and my front gates. I’m speechless! This product is way underpriced comparing it to others on the market. Don’t hesitate to purchase this!

Second updated review. The camera has been very good since we bought it and has been a great piece of mind for my daughter so she can keep an eye on the horses. We had a problem after about 6 months with the camera charging. We went through the help offer by Xega and in the end it was believed to have developed a fault. They (Kiki) was very good and arranged a replacement camera to be sent out and it was received within 3 or 4 days. Very good after sales customer services. Original review The camera was pretty straight forward to set up. Was already charged and the SIMM card provided worked straight away. Once synchronised via the Mobile APP the camera has been fine. The camera picture quality is good. As the provided SIMM card worked well we took out the 12 month subscription. We had an issue when the the original SIMM card data had been used up and the next 12 months subscriped to. The SIMM card needed to come back out and I had to install a different SIMM card to start a network search. Once the original was then put back in the subscriped service has been working fine. The Solar charging is good and the battery power has remained although its not recording continuously. Overall its been very good and value for money, and the night vision has also been useful as the camera is looking after horses in a field.

Great device with image and quality is also good and a better flexibility and very easy to use and had an issue with a Sim card but a Team Member "ANNA" sorted out within minutes and a great service from ANNA.
