Chemistry Workbook For Dummies

I loved this because it's setup is just like a textbook! It goes through the chapter, gives a couple examples with explanations for both, then four or so questions for you to do by yourself! And if you get to one you're not sure on you can check your answers at the end of the chapter, they also give great explanations on how they got to that answer back there too! I bought this because I will be taking a lot of Chemistry in college and needed a bit of a refresher before I went into college level. This is perfect for that and for the absolute novice! I even learned things I never learned in high school chemistry 1! Definitely great for someone shaky on the subject!

Great book to help you learn basic chemistry. Breaks things down into simple terms, examples and exercises. Would be better if it had more practice pages. Great for high school or college students getting thru basic chemistry. If you need more help check out Tyler DeWitt on YouTube!!

Very helpful book. The only down side is that the paper is very thin. I like to write with ink pen. But it bleeds through the pages

Taking General Chemistry I and now General Chemistry II, this workbook has helped be solidify my understanding of the learned material. I always need a little extra time and help learning new material and this workbook breaks it down in a different manner than my book and professor. I wish there were more practice problems but there are is a nice variety in the workbook.

Topic highlights and basics precede every set of problems. Very detailed explanations for problem sets. Really pleased with this purchase.

I was really excited to read it but realized the pages were printed in black and white and were very thin. I would have paid extra for colour and now I have no interest whatsoever to read this book

Good for revision

It isn't used/ like new. I guess could be called gently used.. the covers really worn out. The answers are answered, written in pencil. Theres alot of side notes written on almost all the pages in pencil. Lots of whats said is crossed out in pencil. But its in pencil. Its alot of erasing.... theres also some pen written answers. Lots of ripped pages... Some pages have chops taken out of them... I kinda expected the book not to be written all over and ripped up for a like new condition. Now the book. Its a great add on to teach chemistry. Its in great textbook form, information then questions format. No answer key at the back. The answers are all in the information before the questions... In my specific book... the answers are crossed out in pencil.... so I have alot of erasing. Added a couple pics of alittle of the damage... theres alot...

The book arrived unsecured within the box, sustained damage to the cover and first few pages at top inner corner.

This book has no colour and frills but it has some great questions for practice and solidifying concepts.
