There's A House Inside My Mummy Review: Best book for toddlers and young children - Tummy Telephone! - My young toddler (22-months) and both me and my wife love this book. We checked out several sibling preparation books from the library and this is by far our favorite. My toddler picks out this book every night and asks to read the "baby book". She'll often pick it up and "read" it on her own too. The text is very creative and the images are colorful and playful without being too busy. It certainly holds the attention of our active little girl. We kept renewing the book until we exceed our library's renewal policy. Then we purchased a copy of our own. It's a hard to find book, but we highly recommend it for kids up to age 5. Review: Fabulous provider! - My daughter was borrowing this book because she was due with her second baby and wanted to prepare her first little guy! He loved the book, but we didn't want the borrowed book ruined. The book I purchased was brand new, in perfect condition, and came in a very timely fashion. My daughter was able to finish out her pregnancy with her own book, lovingly touched and thumbed through to his favorite pages (not the one with the new baby's arrival!) with peace of mind. I would recommend this provider to anyone!

Simple, to the point, and informative!
Excellent book to prep for baby. It talks about the whole waiting process, how the mom may be tired, how the kids might see baby move and how the baby can hear them when they talk to him, etc. just wonderful. Both children in this book are male and white. I am not sure if there are other versions depicting different genders or races.

A book about pregnancy for toddlers.
This is a lovely book in most respects. The family looks kind and relaxed. It is probably best for a toddler boy who is expecting a baby brother. The flow of the story isn't perfect (which may be just the way I read aloud) but it covers some general topics. I don't necessarily agree with the way everything is depicted but it is not negative. The pictures are good to talk about and it shows mummy getting bigger - which is really what I wanted it for.

Cute lil preparation book for toddlers
We read this to my son every night while I was pregnant with my daughter and my son loved this simple story. Even now that his sister is ten months he still insists on reading it at least once a week. I don't know if it explains the situation of pregnancy well to a toddler or not but my son seemed to find the mommy in the books belly as interesting as mine whose he rubbed constantly while pointing to the book.

I would recommend this book to others with two year olds
I would recommend this book to others with two year olds. We have another little guy on the way and this book is really helping our two and a half year old get a better accept/understand what is happening inside mama. It is my favorite of the "preparing siblings" books out there, except for the end part, which mentions about mommy making another after this baby....mmmmm..not so sure about that. But overall, that's not a big deal. Take a look and see if its what you'd like (at the end it also mentions that the baby is a boy, which works for us, but might nor for others.)

Best way to introduce pregnancy
This book is so cute! I have a very visual toddler and wanted a book to tell him about pregnancy. Most books out there is about the new baby, but I wanted to walk him through the changes with pregnancy as well... it was great! My son loves reading it, and he always hugs my belly after ❤️

Exorbitant price for passage.
This is an excellent book, which I knew having already had it. I bought two copies of it, but ended up paying an exorbitant price for both. They were sent separately, and the postage was absolutely ridiculous. I will never buy books from Amazon again, I feel I have been robbed.I am a regular customer, having a kindle, but I feel really aggrieved about this.

This is an adorable book for a new brother or sister to learn about the upcoming changes in their life. Would also make an adorable gift! Super cute illustrations and love the story!

I have always loved this book! The book explains the changes a mum might go through in pregnancy in a simple way. Doesn't give any gory details, but gives enough information for the child to understand more. A great little book to read to a future big sister or brother from when they first learn their mummy is going to have another baby, right till the end of the pregnancy. The more they read it, the more they will "get it".

I bought this for my son who will be two JUST after my second child is born and he loves it. In fact, he demands it every night at bedtime! Despite his age he has become "wee baby" daft and will point to my tummy to confirm that the "wee baby" is there. He is about as excited as such a young child could be about the prospect of a new arrival and I think this book has helped. There are many good features - the rhyming verses, which are not too long; the lovely pictures, with lots to look at and talk about apart from the baby; the prominence of Dad throughout and a strong impression that the current child is very much loved, cherished and played with, which does somehow manage also to imply that this happy picture will only be better with the addition of the baby. What is even better is the tongue-in-cheek humour, which has given me, my husband and my friends much amusement (e.g. "I just can't wait to meet him, I hope that he's alright. My Daddy says be patient, as his door is rather tight"!)
