Great lights minor issue
Ok updated review. There is a super easy way to change the color/temperature of the lights. Turns out the rumor about reading directions is actually pretty helpful. Lights really are great. Even when I thought there was an issue returning or replacing with another brand was never considered because they look great and weee far better to use than any other low voltage lights Iโve used. Original review below. Mixed review on these lights. Generally they are amazing. They look good, are easy to install and put off great light. The connection components to tie into a long run cable are also very nice. Easily a five star review with one issue. I ordered the twelve pack, a single item on Amazon. They came in two boxes which is all good. HOWEVER the two boxes are different light temperatures, one box is very white light and the other box very yellow/orange. I can mostly make it work but will need to buy an additional box to make it not look too ridiculous.

Very nice lights!
I bought 2 sets of these to put them up on the fence in the backyard. Yes they are very expensive. It took a while but they were very easy to put and set up. I installed these in the spring, not knowing if they will work in Canadian winters. It is Jan 2026 and I have to say I am very impressed. They do hold up in the winter they are working perfectly. The durability of these are really great and well made. One con is the 1st set does not have the colour choice option which is disappointing. Brightness is perfect.

Tremendous lighting
I just finished installing 24 lights on the fence along my 220' long driveway in a rural area. The installation went smoothly and everything I needed was included. All the lights came on and they lite up the area beyond my expectations. The size was perfect and is very complimentary to my fence. I like that they are metal and will withstand all the weather our state has to offer. Would have expected to pay more, but love these just the way they are. Very affordable.

Beautiful Lights for a fence. (One Bad Fixture out of 12)
UPDATE: The manufacturer sent me a replacement for the defective unit once it was determined that I had it wired correctly. They asked for photos for proof, but once that was done, it was shipped quickly. Thanks! Now over a year later all the lights are performing beautifully! Love the lights, easy to install. As others mentioned, the leads are a bit short, so you have to run wire higher up on the fence and not in the ground. This causes some issues with unsightly cables on the back of the fence, but not the end of the world. Mounting brackets are easy to use, and installation was a breeze. Recommend that you get some connectors to clamp the light lead wires into your low voltage landscape lighting cable and have that ready. After about a month, I have had 1 fixture out of the 12 that has failed (started flashing on and off, and now will not light at all). Amazon is not helpful in supporting, so hopefully the manufacturer will back the light as it is supposed to have a 3 year warranty. I will let you know how that goes in an update to this review.

Very Well Made/Easy Install
These lights are fabulous! Very well made and packaged. I didn't have one failure. The installation was really where these lights shined. A very useful tension spring clip is screwed into a fencepost in my case, then the light is simply pushed in the slots and done. I have what is called a good neighbor fence in this area, so both sides of the fence look the same. In order to hide the wiring as best I could, I drilled a hole from the center of the fence post (to be covered by the light) to the side of the post and exits right next to the horizontal rail on the fence. See pictures. Then I used a cable stapler to staple the 14/2 wire to the underside of the horizontal fence rail. (see pictures). This worked really well and was very hard to see when you got say 20' away. In one picture, the fencing is stained and the wire is really hidden. In another picture I installed on a new fence (on the other side of the house) and even then, it's hard to see. Though you can see that the light reflects off the fence brighter if it is not stained. I will be staining that fence in the spring. Also, you can see how easy the wiring is even though I'm in the PNW, I didn't think insulated connectors were necessary. I just used my favorite electrical connector: Wago 221. (See pictures) As you can see, in my case, it didn't matter that the wire from the light is only 3 feet or so long, not sure what they were thinking there. But I cut them to about 3" long in my application. On one side of the house I had about 80' from the 110v outlet (transformer) to where I started the lighting. So I used 12/2 landscape wiring from the transformer to the first light, then I used 14/2 for the rest of the lights to ensure I would have very little voltage drop. On the other side, again I used 12/2 from the transformer to the first light (even though it was 25' distance), then 14/2 for the rest of the lights. But I also had to drop down to the dirt planter for another type of landscape light, so I went back to 12/2 for about a 30' run for 4 lights. I didn't use 16/2 wire anywhere. It's be much easier to work with, but you'll get too much voltage drop even in shorter runs. This is the landscape wire I used, it's very good and of course can be buried: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Y6NJDQ4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 I used two 60w transformers: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KXDQ9QT?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 And one 120w transformer: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RGQM12Q?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Both types were very good and very simple. Just plug them in and set to photocell...done. This is the stapler I used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00004Z2K4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 with the 5/16" staple: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000BYCQZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details and here are the 3-conductor electrical connectors: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W5RKXCB?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

Great lights need a longer lead
Beautiful lights but really need a six foot lead. Most fences are six foot and it would be nice to be able to run the main wire in the ground and have the lead long enough to connect to it. This is the only thing that was not well thought out. I had to add wire to extend the lead. Other than this, awesome lights.

High Quality Lighting
I just replaced on old wood fence with a vinyl fence and took this opportunity to install decorative lighting. The fence components are hollow, so that allowed me to hide the wiring inside the fence rails. I chose the LeonLite Schermo 12V Deck & Rail Light because of its high quality construction. Made of oil rubbed bronze die cast aluminum with an IP65 rating, this sealed the deal for me. The 5W 3000K LEDs throw a lot of light. Installation was easy too. I drilled 2 holes to mount the bracket and a third hole for the wiring to run through the post. The light just clips onto the bracket and is easy to remove if necessary. I installed 22 lights, one on each fence post using 12/2 low voltage landscape wire. I overcame voltage drop issues over the 220 ft run by using a multitap, multi-zone wifi transformer and ran 2 circuits through the fence, putting every second light on an alternate zone. These light really beautified my yard and lights it up like a Christmas tree at night. I am very happy with these lights and would do it all over again.

Great lights!
We had a new fence put up and purchased these lights to put on the fence. They are gorgeous! We also ordered the wire that they require and my husband installed them himself. He found them easy to loop together and we added a timer too.

Nice product
5 CCT selectable from yellow to bright white. Perfect for a large deck or fence lighting. For me, 3W would have been ideal. NO complaints at all.

11 out of 12 Lights Work - Amazon Send me a Replacement Light Please - Do Better!!
Well to be clear, the lights look good, the installation, electrical wire, and transformer are all extra's of course. My issue is that one of the twelve lights was defective/inoperable. After repeated attempts with Amazon customer service, using the (not so useful AI chat tool) to try and return just the one light to receive a replacement, Amazon's response was that I would have to physically disconnect all the lights that do work and send in the whole package to receive a new package. This to me makes no sense at all. I simply want a replacement light, and that I will gladly send back the one defective light, how hard is that? Apparently Amazon finds this process to be too arduous and not within their policy. When I was recommended to consult directly with the manufacturer "Torchstar", I was given the link through Amazon, but when I explained that the product was defective I was automatically re-routed back to Amazon customer service which was a continuous loop that lead me nowhere. Amazon, do better by your customers, work with them to find a reasonable solution. In my case, I simply want a replacement light - full stop!
