Deep, dark flavor.
Softer and less rubbery/chewy than red vines and with a much deeper flavor. It leans toward a strong, dark molasses style. My only wish is for a more intense licorice root presence. It's there but it's subtle. My kids actually prefer that, so it's not a flaw, just a preference. That's why I'm able to give it 5 stars, even though it's not my personal favorite. It's always fresh and high quality. It can be a little sticky, so keep it in the bag. Very good value.

Great Licorice flavor and texture
I throughly enjoyed the licorice flavor and the soft but chewy texture. I also liked that it was well priced and had little sugar in it. I would definitely recommend this as a candy to have around the house if you like the taste of licorice.

Yummy little snack
Texture was different from other licorice I've had, not bad per se just not smooth. Taste was great! and shipped well and all that.

A healthy licorice that tastes good
Excellent black licorice and sweetened with molasses instead of sugar. My doctor said it metabolizes differently than regular sugar. It is very good and small pieces. I eat a few pieces every day
