Great replacement for small battery pack powered items.
This unit is excellent with variable output and really ideal for small battery /low voltage lights. Disconnect the battery box, use one of the supplied connectors, set the required voltage ( 1.5 volts per AA or AAA battery. 2 batteries equals 3 volts, 3 cells equals 4.5 volts. ) and plug in. No more battery issues.

Versatile Charger
This product replaced a bucket full of chargers of various voltage and amperage with different-sized connectors. I like having one charger that I can dial to voltage and attach the appropriate plug. Great product!

Great little adapter.
I have 2 of these and they are well made and work nicely to replace battery packs that the tiny LED Xmas light strings use. We were going through batteries so I decided enough was enough and wired these in place of the battery packs. They come with every size of typical DC connector I could imagine. There is one (included) for stripped wire. The switch to select the voltage seems well made.

Perfect for Slow Record Cleaning
I’m using this to reduce voltage to a small DC motor to slow the spin rate of my record cleaning kit. This gives my records more time in an ultra sonic bath. Perfect.

elegant, well-engineered design
Highly recommended. Very well engineered unit. Package can be opened by removing two small screws & splitting the clamshell. Output voltages match the labelling quite precisely. Selector switch is robust - no 'iffy' voltage settings. Main output connector is commonplace 2.1/5.5 mm barrel connector, my overwhelming favourite. I wish a companion unit was available with a higher range of output voltages, say 6.0 to 28 volts [at half the output current, of course] with otherwise identical mechanical features.

This wall wart is for equipment with + center pin
This adapter has all the voltages needed for radios, tape recorders, and other devices common in one's home. The only thing I don't like is that it only has the + center pin. DO NOT BUY if your equipment hqas a (+) center pin. Using this adapter on such a device could ruin it.

Almost burnt down my Christmas tree
Almost burnt down my Christmas tree... I used it to power the tree star at the top that runs on 2.4-3v... but the 3v on the adapter gave 3.5v (which I didn't measure beforehand...)... All other outputs are also "off", but in a certain acceptable range (e.g. 4.5v is 4.6v). In the morning, I plugged it in... and at some point in the afternoon, i could smell something "burning"... I noticed that the Star was turned off.. When I got near, the smell was worse, the adapter was barely touchable (hot) and the star was ruined... I unplugged everything and took measurements, and that's when I noticed the output voltage...
