I have started to do gel nail sets and builder gel that soaks off. I prefer them as the sets last longer on my nails. Plus gel keeps my natural nails growing longer too. I don’t really have a nail drill and just nail files so I rely on soak off. This tool kit is very helpful for me to at least soften up some layers or to completely get gel off my nails. Before I was making my own foil and cotton wraps which was time consuming. The little sheets are very absorbent yet sort of big. I’m just doing natural nails that are a short but medium long length. So probably short for those that use gel X or other such extensions that need longer sheets. The sheets last for me and I'm happy. The fingertip clamps are comfortable. Easy to open and close. Plus they fit my bigger fingers very well. There is a learning curve on how to get the sheet in there without completely covering my whole finger tip on top. I ended up using Vaseline around my fingers and that helped a lot. My favorite part of the kit is the nail tools as I really needed some. I need to invest in more nail tools. I appreciate that they came and reusable sleeves that protect sharp or pointy parts of the tool. I really needed more nail files too since that’s all I pretty much have right now to help prep and remove. I am still looking at which nail drill to invest in. The price was very reasonable for this set. I’m glad that I went ahead and bought it. I’m constantly using the set now.

The clips worked as I expected and the files were nice but it took me 1 1/2 hours to get the gel polish off of my nails. Im not sure the soaking pads worked as good as the cotton balls I have used in the past. There are no instructions on how to use the files or prep so the process was a bit frustrating,

Loved this variety of tools in one package. Each one has made it easier to do my manicures and pedicures at home. Will repurchase!
