Filippo Berio Truffle Pesto 190g

I dont think i've ever written a food type review here but I had to do it for this truffle pesto, to redeem it from the atrocious other review and to say my peace. This pesto is an absolute game changer. I have never tasted any pasta as good and as delicious as I have when cooked with it. I don't think I can go back honestly. It is so flavourful, so incredibly rich and delicious, I will be eating truffle pesto pasta until I can no longer, or until it stops being sold lol. WHoevever said this tasted bad, either have no taste, or simply does not know what truffle tastes like. It is SO SO SO SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. Holy. Get some rigatoni pasta, single cream + soft cream cheese, choice of meat (we went with diced boneless chicken) and make something incredible with this pesto. Cook your chicken pieces in generous butter until golden, add choppped garlic, let them brown even more, then add your single cream, soft cheese, and this pesto, alongside a bunch of your fav seasonings (fresh basil is amazing but so is dried, pepper, salt, red chili flakes, parsley, lemon, whatever floats your boat), mix well until it is smooth and then add your cooked pasta with + 1 or 2 cups of pasta water before you drain it. Add parmesan, Let it bubble for a little bit, and sit to soak up all the flavours before you eat with more parmesan. You will L O V E it. I can't go back~ you're welcome :3

I love it, it super tasty and e everytime I want to add truffle flavor to mi dishes, I use this pesto.

It's delicious - and £1+ cheaper at ASDA

No one in my house could finish their dinners with this. It was mixed in to pasta, and it all went in the bin. Possibly the worst thing I've ever eaten. The smell and texture if this in the jar was a red flag, but not one to usually waste food I carried on. Disgusting, absolutely vile. Need a glass of wine now!

I'm addicted to this pesto! So tasty, although a bit on the pricey side. Sometimes I add a little cream or creme fresh also 👌 delicious

I adore the flavour of truffles and this pesto packs a real punch. Delicious on pasta obv. but also brilliant on crackers, vegetables, baked potatoes etc etc.
