Garbage doesn't work
Doesn't work. Checked with a multimeter. Proper 12 volts going in, nothing on the output. Garbage. Do not buy

Dead on arrival.
Connected this to a 12 volt power source expecting the stated 3 volt output, but got ZERO volts. Disconnected and checked continuity: nothing. If you risk buying this, make sure you check it with a digital multimeter before wiring it into your project. I've tried the adjustable step down transformers here on Amazon, but can't get any of them adjusted below 3.2 volts, and I need exactly 3 volts. I returned this defective converter and ordered "12V-24V to 3V 5A Transformer Step Down Module Power Converter Voltage Regulator" (ASIN: B0D5DMHS7J) hoping for better luck when it arrives in a week or two from China.

Failed after about 10 hours!
This converter was used a total of about 10 hours over the 5 months I've owned it. Now it no longer works! 12.6 volts going in, only 1 volt out.

Returned- fried my laser
Did not get it to work for me. Might have been the wrong one for me….ended up buying a more expensive adjustable unit.
