Shockingly fast healing! I got this cream because of a review like this one. Only I don’t have children. I use this on my face as a slug mask. I use it on rashes. On exema, on bumps and any redness. Nobody fully prepares you for the sheer frequency of newborn poop! My little one is just two weeks old, and it feels like we're changing diapers constantly, around the clock. As a pharmacist, my first thought seeing those endless dirty diapers was "oh no, the inevitable horrible diaper rash is coming." You see the worst cases and just want to prevent it at all costs for your own baby. I'd heard good things about Triple Paste, often recommended by pediatricians, so I decided to give it a try right from the start. I have been so impressed and relieved. This cream is thick – like, properly thick – but that's exactly what you want. It creates a really durable barrier between his delicate skin and all that moisture and irritation. Even with what feels like non-stop pooping, his skin has stayed clear. On the one occasion where I saw a tiny bit of redness starting (probably because I wasn't quick enough with a change!), applying this cleared it right up by the next diaper change. It seems to really soothe the skin quickly, which might be thanks to the botanicals they include along with the heavy dose of zinc oxide. I used this diaper rash cream on my senior dog who wears diapers 24/7 (carefully making sure she didn’t ingest it, since zinc oxide isn’t safe for dogs). My only complaint is how hard this is to get off of my own hands after I apply it to her butt. It’s a great barrier cream. Her diaper rash has improved and there’s minimal redness now just after a few times of using it also makes the poop easy to wipe off of her butt. It’s a good deal for your money. It works well. She’s comfortable with it. There’s a very minimal smell to it. Easy to apply and it’s a very thick cream.

I recently discovered Triple Paste Medicated Ointment for diaper rash, and while it’s marketed for babies, I found it to be a surprisingly effective product for facial basting as well.
