I used mine for the first time today and am not happy with the results. The ones in the middle were over done while the others were under done...why?

can i make in this a puff pancake? and how do i make puff pancake in this maker?

I have made them in this mold with good results. I did have to adjust the cook times as needed because of how hot it gets, waiting for the timer resulted in burned puffs but monitoring them was perfect.
