Vallejo - Pigment FX Mud & Sand Effects, Weathering Pigments for Models & Dioramas, 4 Bottles x 35 ml (1.18 Fl. Oz.)

I've only recently (last year or so), started to weather my models instead of going for the direct-from-factory look. These powders are one of my favorite finds. I've brushed them on dry, and I've mixed them with varying amounts of water for different ways to apply it. Once the water dries, the dust left behind looks great. Definitely a must-have for me to easily and quickly add more realism. Oils and washes are great for getting the worn and dirty color, but these really add the correct texture, too.

I’m pleased with the color and the finish of the pigments. They are easy to apply too.

Great product. You have to mix it first however with the medium. I overdid my first kit, but in reality it looked pretty good imho.

I got the stone and cement set for some urban basing. Does a fantastic job of making concrete rubble look dusty plus it looks great when you add all the colors. Some of the pigments were easier to apply than others (the desert dust was a bit clumpy).

I've been using Citadels Typhus Corrosion and dry brushing it with Ryza Rust for a while now. That worked ok, and was very simple, but I started to aim for more and more realistic wear on my models and Citadel just wasn't cutting it anymore. After watching a lot of Youtube videos on rust effects for miniatures I decided to dive into using pigment powders. I'm glad that I did, because the results of switching to Vallejo's pigment powders have been outstanding. If you're willing to put in a bit more time and effort I highly recommend these. The texture and color gradients you can hit look way more realistic. If you pick these up, I would suggest throwing a cheap blush brush in the cart with them. They seem to work really well, and can be added for pretty cheap when compared to actual art brushes.

I think the product will work fine, but the packaging needs to be better for shipping as the powder spilled inside the plastic packaging. I saw several other reviews with the same issue, but hoped mine would be okay. Maybe it's an Amazon delivery issue? If they're throwing packages around...

These are amazing for modelling

Best of the best for weathering powered. Not much make to say

Ottimi pigmenti x diorami o altro effetto terra e polvere all’ altezza del nome .. valleyio 👍

Première fois que ça m'arrive avec Vallejo, mais les pots sont arrivés endommagés et les pigments se sont déversés dans le blister...

bon prix en combinant 4 pots

Consegna amazon perfetta. Prodotto eccellente come tutta la gamma vallejo. Effetto ruggine nel modellismo davvero notevole. Lo consiglio anche a chi inizia.

量が多くて、非常に素晴らしい商品です。しいて難点を挙げれば、茶色ばかりなので黒色も欲しかった。
