Beautiful machined aluminum replacement for plastic OEM. Won’t crack or leak. Good fit and function. Comes complete with all the seals and gaskets needed. VW dealership doesn’t like it because they claim that Aluminum retains the heat from coolant. But it sounds like they have something against the beauty of this pump.

Installed on my Audi a4 and it fit and worked good I didn’t have any issues with it I would buy again if I had to it didn’t leakage it was easy to install I just took the throttlebody off and moved some wires out the way this is good quality the thermostat worked good witch I was worried about

Exact match to OEM dimensions. Quality replacement part that is a good value for a more durable aluminum part vs plastic original. Well packaged, arrived in perfect condition. All pieces and parts needed for a replacement are included. Aluminum edges tend to be a bit sharper than on stock plastic parts and will cut o-rings on installation if not careful.

It fit fine but wasn't fully compatible for my 2012 Audi A3. Was missing a sensor. Installed it anyway and it has been ok just had to put a resistor on the sensor plug to cancel the check engine light.

Installation was right on, be careful: for the 2010 2.0L model year engine there are TWO water pump designs, so it’s best to get a visual of what yours looks like before ordering. Difference is in the coolant connection. Fits perfectly. Higher quality metal over plastic construction. No leaks.

Easy to install works great. Only note I have is for those with CFBA engines that have the thermostat heater circuit. This does not. What I did with mine is cut my original thermostat housing and tucked it up above the oil cooler. The function for the thermostat heater circuit was never implemented on the MK6 Gti but it will throw a check engine light if not plugged in.

Seems well made, comes with everything except bolts and a belt which I bought from the dealer. After a week, no leaks and works just fine. If it blows up I’ll update. The original water pump was still going strong at 223,000km and 9 years old but I decided to change this as the manifold was out to clean the intake valves and replace the injectors.

Very disappointed because this just wastes my time. I’m just glad I discovered this before installing this water pump. Evidence of a previous leak (assumed from quality control testing) before I installed lead me to a easily discover a hairline crack. Why would I risk installing this part? Returned.
