I usually don’t write reviews unless the product is bad, but that’s not the case here. This coffee machine is maybe the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I ordered a Phillips 3300 and returned it immediately after using it. Very weak coffee. The De’longhi is such a superior machine and it’s not even close. It is louder than the Phillips but I wouldn’t care if an air horn went off every time it turned on as long as it keeps making this delicious coffee. Don’t think about it just buy it.

As coffee lovers, my family and I were thrilled to try the De'Longhi Magnifica Evo, and it has not disappointed. From the moment we unboxed it, setup was straightforward and intuitive — we were pulling espresso shots faster than expected. The one-touch recipes are a game changer, making it easy to dial in your favorite drinks without any guesswork. What really stands out is the balance between customization and convenience. You can tweak grind size, coffee strength, temperature, and milk froth to your exact preference, but the machine never makes it feel overwhelming. The auto milk frother deserves a special mention — creamy, consistent foam with minimal effort every single time. I'll be honest: if you're brand new to home espresso, there may be a small learning curve as you explore the settings and find your sweet spot. But that process is genuinely fun, not frustrating, and once you find your groove, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it. For anyone looking for a home espresso machine that grows with you — beginner or enthusiast — the Magnifica Evo strikes the perfect balance. Highly recommend.

This product worked great for the first month. It produced steamed milk drinks and coffee drinks without milk. When the descale light came on, the problems began. The directions that came with the machine were followed to the letter: the descale packet was used, the hot water spout was in place, the water tank was filled with filtered water to the level prescribed. Nothing happened. No hot water came out. Coffee beans were removed. Then I called DeLonghi; the machine had to be shipped back to them. The machine was returned. It worked for a few weeks; i was afraid to use the milk frothing steamer was not used. Then the descale light appeared. Once more the descale process would not work. The coffee machine would not do anything, no coffee, no descaling. It will be returned again. I am not certain I received my machine. It was purchased at $699.99. This machine is very disappointing. I was looking forward to cappuccino, which is fantastic in Italy. This machine is a waste of space in my kitchen.

First off, I might be a bit too critical because I take my espresso machines and cappuccinos fairly seriously. Over the last 15 years, I've had a few Italian espresso machines and am pretty happy with my setup and the espressos and cappuccinos I can make. I didn't buy the Magnifica Evo to replace that setup. I bought it for convenience sake and getting reasonable caffe drinks with the minimum of fuss. I've long had a De'Longhi Nespresso machine for that convenience. For nearly a 15 year old machine, it still cranks out decent cappuccinos. In fact, the microfoam is near perfect. The quality of the capsules fall short and there's the hassle of recycling them. Given the age of the machine, I'm expecting it to die at some point, so was looking for a replacement that could use my preferred beans (Lavazza) and make a decent cappuccino. While I have a commercial grade burr grinder, I wanted the machine to handle that as well. On paper and mostly in practice, the Magnifica Evo is an all-in-one machine that can make many espresso drinks. If I were to judge it solely on it espresso shot, I would give it five stars. Using Lavazzo Super Crema beans, it pulls a good shot with nice acidity and just that little bit of lemon notes - just what I would expect. The "Coffee" option is really just an Americano, and a good one at that. Unfortunately, the cappuccino is fairly weak. One would think that the same company that built a machine that is still producing superb microfoam after 15 years, could duplicate it on its latest and greatest. However, when the foamer is working, it's thin at best. That's when it's working because it can be extremely finicky and would prefer a full soak and cleaning after every use. I got so frustrated with it that I packed it up and put it in the garage for months and only recently pulled it out to give it another try. After a full descale and cleaning, it worked for about a week and now is no longer putting out any foam - just luke warm milk. Now, I only use whole milk and organic at that. I clean the foaming parts now every time and it just works when it wants to. Pretty disappointing. Otherwise, the machine is pretty good sized. It is twice the size (and 3x the weight) of my Nespresso machine and it tends to use quite a bit of water for internal cleaning. The grinder works fine and based on the pucks, it's extracting pretty well. This will likely go back in the garage until the Nespresso finally dies. Since I mostly use semi automatic espresso machines, these automatic machines are only for convenience/laziness anyway. However, for the price I had much higher expecations for this.

I been using this machine every morning for about two weeks and so far it make my coffee routine much easier. I like that it grind the beans fresh each time, the taste come out rich and smooth most days. The milk frother also do a nice job, my cappuccino get a thick foam and even oat milk worked better than i expected. What I enjoy most is pressing one button and just waiting a minute or two. The iced coffee setting was surprizingly good too, which is nice now with warmer weather. I played around with a few grind settings, took me some tries but once I found what I like, it stayed pretty consistant. Cleaning is not difficult, the removable parts wash easy and the auto clean feature help alot. It is a bit bulky on the counter, not gonna lie, but for what it does I can live with that. Anyway, reminds me of coffee shops back home, just less waiting in line. the grinder and biler is a bit noisy specially for very early morning, but overall not a big deal. another thing it that the machine sends notification to empty the train which is good and avoid leakage. overall I would say it worth the money

It’s been almost three months since we received it. It’s been doing the coffee good, but after a month, the frother stopped working. I tried reaching out to customer service each time, but it always led me to a different department.

I love that it grinds fresh coffee beans right before brewing because freshly ground coffee tastes so much richer, smoother, and more flavorful 🫘 Coffee starts losing its freshness and aroma after it’s ground, so being able to grind the beans fresh every single time makes such a huge difference ✨ The milk frother is AMAZING 🥛 It makes every drink feel so luxurious, creamy, and café quality right at home ☁️🤎 I’ve been obsessed with making lattes and espresso drinks every day because it truly feels like having a high-end coffee shop in my kitchen ☕ It’s also super convenient 🙌 and the self-cleaning feature is amazing because cleanup is so easy 🤎 My only minor critique is that it is a lot louder than I expected, but honestly I do not even care because I love it that much ☕ I will use this every single day, probably multiple times a day 🫘 and I cannot wait to share it with my friends and family when I have parties ✨🤎

Tengo esta cafetera desde hace 2 años y sigue siendo de mis mejores compras. El café sale recién molido y el sabor es increíble, tanto que ya casi no tomo café fuera de la casa porque nada me sabe igual. También se puede usar café ya molido si prefieres, pero la diferencia de sabor es notable, el grano recién molido en el momento le gana por mucho. Trae un accesorio para hacer lattes y capuchinos que quedan deliciosos. Yo personalmente no lo uso, pero es una función buenísima cuando tengo invitados. Lo único que no me encanta es que bota un poco de agua al inicio y al final de cada preparación. La rejilla se llena rápido, así que yo le pongo un platito extra para recoger el exceso. Un consejo, si donde vives el agua es dura, vas a necesitar cambiar el filtro y usar líquido descalcificador con más frecuencia. Yo uso versiones genéricas (no las de la marca) y funcionan exactamente igual, así que no es necesario gastar de más ahí. En general, la recomiendo mucho. Después de 2 años sigue funcionando perfecto y el sabor del café sigue siendo la razón principal por la que la amo.

Thouht that this machine might be just hype but it makes great coffee, Latte's, Capuccino's and espressos.

Tenía mis dudas por algunos malos comentarios, la tengo hace casi 1 año y en verdad es una maravilla, todos los días preparo café, algunas veces con leche y para los amantes del café es en verdad una maravilla poder probar diferentes granos de café, cuando salgo de viaje trato de comprar granos locales de cada país y he probado algunos muy interesantes, claro solamente tengan en cuenta el mantenimiento, cada rato me pide cambiar de filtro, también es verdad que desperdicia mucha agua, pero vale la pena.

Muy fácil de utilizar práctica cómoda y el café sabe riquísimo, costo benéfico a muy corto plazo para los que somos amantes del café
