Shape and size exactly as factory. The only thing is that this is not textured like the factory original, as others have stated. I guess you could find a textured one but be prepared to spend more. I was not willing to fork out a lot of cash for a 15-year-old truck. This is great. I would recommend to anyone who drives an '09 Ford F150 STX. See attached before and after pics.

I bought this for my current truck. I have had several other models from the mfg in the past and they never fail to live up to my expectations. I opened the package and verified all parts where present. I am just awaiting delivery of my radio, from Amazon early next week. To complete the install.Based upon my past history with the mfg, I would easily recommend the product to others.Now if the actual install has issues, Ill be sure to update this review. I however do not anticipate any issues.Edit: Installed my radio Installed in my 2012 F150, everything went flawless. Well almost, one notation is that if you try to follow the guide and connect the wires to the radio etc. The power wires for the f150 are evidently controlled by the computer. I had to run a wire directly to the battery and source a switched wire at the fuse box. The plug wires do not match up with anything power wise on the factory harness and again looks like it wouldn't work anyway.I am leaving my 5 star review as the install looks so good. I am very pleased with my purchase.

For what it's worth, it fits okay and gets the job done. It doesn't have the same texture as the factory version, though. It has a very flat texture, which doesn't look as good in my opinion. The brackets didn't line up properly and are made of plastic, but I was able to get it to work. I only intend to use this until I get a proper replacement for my truck, and this will work fine.

The only reason I did not give this a 5 star review is because it comes with the wiring harness for a 2008 and below. Not for 2009 and up. The harness does fit, however the acc (red wire) for the power to turn on whenever you turn your ignition key does not work because the 2009 F-150's use a cam bus system to send power for accessories. I resolved this by plugging in the harness as normal without connecting the red acc wire. I then routed that wire directly to the fuse box for acc power and it worked. Otherwise you can purchase a cam bus harness (very expensive) instead. I just wish the company would have stated that in the directions. Overall though I am very pleased with this purchase. The system looks great inside of this kit. It looks factory installed. Awesome. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to install a single or dual din system in their Ford F-150.

I Loved this install kit I have a 2012 f150 I was worried because some people said it was too short but mine fit Perfect. It all snapped right into place. I put a double din radio the opening had to be wider so I took a razer blade knife and just shaved the opening a little. Then the radio slid right in! (Now as for the wiring harness). All went great! However just remember to run a power wire from the fuse box. at first I hooked everything up then Nothing happen. Then I remembered the previous reviews said you will need a power wire. So at first radio did not turn on then I hooked up a power wire to the fuse box that gets power when ignition is turned on and off when keys are removed. And it did GREAT I love this install kit!

I ordered the complete installation kit for a 2010 F-150 xlt. The wiring harness I received said it was for a 2002-2008. Uhh ok? Everything else was correct except the inside hole for the double din. We got out a tape measure n measured it to make sure it wasn't my miscalculation. Which is wasn't. The opening was 1/8th of an inch smaller on height and width, which means my radio wasn't gonna fit. It's several days b4 xmas, I don't have the time or money to reorder the parts cause of their screw up. So I had to use a dremel n make the opening wider myself. Since the wiring harness wasn't the correct yr, the power wires didn't line up n not the correct colors I might add, that was fun. It does not come with the steering wheel control harness, which I thought it did. So now I'll have to order that separately n pull it all back out. Also, the stock radio had another grey clip in it, I'm assuming maybe for the Microsoft sync that came in the truck, but there's no adapter for that either. So there's something else I'm gonna have to order.Shouldn't a COMPLETE installation kit.... Be complete? At the very least, send the right freaking parts!!!!

Purchased and installed this in my truck about 2 years ago. I like to wait a while before leaving the review as now I've actually used this thing for many years and I can honestly tell you whether it's good or bad and how it holds up.In the case of this component it is very good quality. It's got a sort of rubbery finish to it which I was concerned about at first thinking that it would come off however, it looks like the day I put it in the truck still and it's been two years. It hasn't been any warping cracking or anything that you would expect to see in an inferior product. This is not an inferior product it is as good as the OEM bezel. Highly recommended. It was an exact fit and easy to install.
