Your basic, easy-to-use battery tester.
Simple, works. Seems decently accurate. Works about instantly, easy to read (only real instruction that is needed is which end is positive/negative). Sometimes the readings drift, sometimes it gives slight variances when you test through same battery twice, but for the price I'm not complaining. I just wanted to know which of my rechargeable AA batteries isn't holding a charge. (Spent 15 minutes going through my junk drawer and testing stray batteries! That was exciting.)

A handy tester that does the job well
I recently picked up this battery tester, and overall it’s been working really well for me. My first order did show up with one tester that didn’t work, but the seller handled it right away and sent out a replacement without any hassle, which I really appreciated. The new set arrived quickly and both testers worked just fine. What I like most about this tester is that I’m not limited to just aaa or aa, c, d, 9v, batteries. I can check all kinds— and everything in between—which makes it way more useful than the basic ones you usually find. It’s simple to use, gives a clear reading, and saves me a lot of guessing when I’m digging through old batteries. Works well and is definitely worth having around.

Solid cheap option, but usability could be improved
I guess you get what you pay for. It works, but there isn't a magnetic clip or mechanism to lock a battery into place when testing it; the red piece just loosely holds the battery, and you have to fiddle with it from there to get a reading. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend the product to someone who has dexterity limitations or weakness in their hands (e.g., from arthritis). Otherwise, it seems okay.

Works great. I can now easily check any battery that i am using. Very useful tool to have. Not the most accurate, but it will let you know weather you need to change out your batteries. Very simple and easy to use.

Ideal
Price, quanity, were ideal for my needs. It works great, after the holiday decor comes down and the batteries are to be removed. Double check the items marked replace--just because you might not have aligned the battery between the two points.

Works for what I needed, but REALLY light weight.
From what I can tell they work. I took several batteries and checked them on both testers. In most cases they tested out almost the same. I then compared them to another battery tester I have been using for years and they came out fairly close, sometimes reading "lower" than the tester I have been using for years, suggesting the battery may have less juice than what my older test indicated. I did not do any testing of these with a volt/ohm meter. I have done that in the past with my tried and true older tester. Yes, that would have been a much better test, but for the price of these testers and what I need them for, I just didn't take the time. Why only 3 stars? These are extremely light weight plastic. I found this to be somewhat of an issue. It seemed to make it more difficult to handle. To measure the battery, you have to adjust the plastic slide that has a connector on it. Then you need to put pressure on the slide with the battery in between the slide connector and the top connector to make a connection. Then the meter will register. BUT, you have to keep the battery in place and often it slides around between the connectors, so the connection is broken. With a little practice I got better. This is where I think a little more weight would be better. I think that would help to handle the tester when trying to balance the battery between the slide connector and the top connector. Just my thoughts. Would I buy again, for the price they will do what I need them to do; keep them near where I store my batteries to check when needed. I like that they come in the two pack. I like being able to test the batteries using both to do a double check. I would be very concerned if I was using these daily and in a garage environment. I worry about placing them somewhere that they may have stuff placed on them, e.g., a junk drawer. I also worry about dropping them. Again, if I dropped one, I like that I have a backup to check to see if the other one still works and just as a backup, but I would be concerned that they might chip or even shatter. So concerns about functionality. I feel okay with accuracy. Not too hard to read as long as I have my glasses on. Will update later if needed.
