Screen flashing from one side, the battery is not up for more than hour and half

This is a great piece of kit. The touch screen is responsive but needs calibrating( must learn how to do it). Assembly was realativly easy taking only about 10 minutes, just needs a Raspberry PI 4. As it runs a special version of Linux you need to create a memory card but that is really easy using the raspberrypi burning software. So far I am really happy with this tablet. The only down side I have found is the noisy fan. The battery life is not the best but it is adiquate to last for most out and about jobs. I use an external keyboard but the on screen is fine.

Brightness not good

This will solve all the Pi wiring problems, like the a battery backup. Does have quirks on screen rotation. Battery will run down fairly quickly but this is meant for Pi projects and for that purpose the bundled cables and ease of assembly is well worth the price.

pros - no more having a device that is de-funked after being abandoned for pursuit of profit. - the body and screen are well made and solid. - buttons for volume and brightness feel pretty good, should last. - screen is sharp and pretty decent Cons - The mini jack out is only outputting one a single side. - The usb inputs are affected by the power input; meaning it will strike keys when none are struck. - So far I've not gotten the battery % to be displayed by ubuntu and the raspberry pi bulldog. - the power brick lead is a bit short for my liking. The mini jack and wired keyboard can be fixed by using bluetooth, but for the price I don't expect to have these issues especially when you are paying a pretty penny for a reshelled raspberry pi that is actually taking away basic functions. Still there's none like it on the market but hopefully over time this type of product will fight back against current terrible consumer trends.
